Great review!  Thanks

Just got my Wildtop for my Gladiator a couple months ago and I love it. I usually drive around with the sides rolled up as I like the look of that too. The price was right and the ability to haul stuff on the roof bars was also what I wanted. I've been sleeping in the back of the Gladiator when camping and it's been great. I have a huge garage door (16'x7') mosquito net that I used to cover it when sleeping with all three sides rolled up. I sleep with the tailgate down and the net covers everything.  I also really like the fact that I don't have to worry about how much gear I put in the back and how high the gear sits in the bed like I used to with the tonneau cover. I don't have to worry about making sure everything doesn't go above the sides of the truck bed so my tonneau cover will close. It's a great addition to my JT.

What leave hanging is that tracks are an option.

Thanks for the review. Just looked an the Beast is 2k

To me this gives you  two of the biggest negatives from the SmartCap and soft topper and combines them into one cap. The soft tops inability to create any type of security and the racks ability to limit your road height and utility in carrying larger taler loads in the bed   This is basically nothing more than a truck rack with some side covers.

How easy is it to take off if you need to haul a fridge or something like that?

Thanks for the video, it answered all my questions but one.  Does the WildTop interfere with the softop when you fold it back?

I got this  Wildtop a while ago and I love it! Did some modifications to have a grill roof rack system on it and it works perfect. I did design it with 8020 T slot profile and accessories. WishIi could share pics here but I also used some parts from SHERPA

Great video. I got the wildtop last summer and like it so far. I didn't have the issue with the zippers in the back, but it might have been because my top was installed a bit further back on the bed. I initially had an issue with the front sticking to the spray in bed liner, but I used sandpaper to rough up the surface and used heavy duty 3M tape/heat gun and seems to be sticking. I really wish I could buy a basket that would fit the cross bars up top.

I agree 100%, why doesn't Wildtop have a roof rack system that fits. Im having a hard time finding mounts to fit a kayak on those square cross bars.

Yes, i also agree and dont understand the odd shape of the frame not following the contor of the Gladiator. Probably because a trapezoidal shape is more sturdy for load bearing than a rectangular? IDK

The material around the zippers look a different  color on yours as compared to mine.

I have an issue with the window area near the bed with the Velcro not sticking onto my spray in bed liner. I have all 4 of my windows rolled up and my back window of my hard top open and its a great fresh air feel doing the Safari mode option.

I did have issues with my magnets not holding the side canvas until after realizing that I didn't have the interior magnetic strap flush to the surface making the proper magnetic connection.

Overall, do i like it and would i buy it again. Yes, i would. I bought mine back in the winter when they had a black Friday $200 off promotion. Wildtop is very responsive to their Customer service line as well. But i really think they need to have more rooftop accessories as well as other potential options. Hopefully they will consider this in the near future.

I do like how they allow a drill free option for people who have the trail rail system like myself.

The canvas is very thick and heavy duty, and i have had no issues with leaking. I have only had it since December, so we will see how it holds up during the wear and tear of time and mother nature.

Thanks for the video!

Just watched your review. Well done. Thanks for presenting the info. Quick question: You mentioned sleeping inside and hard to operate zippers — would they prevent a person from crawling inside and zipping up for the night?

Your right its really difficult finding a basket to fit the east and west rails. I found one i really want thats 75inch. It would reach both cross rails. But the rack would defiantly hang over on each of sides of the topper. Do you think that would look clunky having a over sized basket ? Also i run into the issue it may hit my shark fin antenna. I havent recieved my wild top. But trying to decide what i want to do. Fyi i cant weld either lol. I think these racks are tall enough they should stand over antennas and 3rd break lights.

Do you feel this rack would fit as is with the included brackets?  It looks like it sits completely flush front and back. If I remember correctly the outside to outside measurement on the bars is 63.25...
