The All Blacks are also the only rugby team to this day that hold a positive win record against every single national team on the planet.

What the Hawaiian teams do is taken from, the NZ haka, but most Polynesian cultures have there own form of the Haka, but the Haka, and the name Haka, belongs to the Maori  Culture of New Zealand..

The Springboks and all blacks are currently playing each other in a set of matches what is called the greatest rivalry, maybe it would be a good time to react to one of the south Africa Vs new Zealand rivalry,

It told you how many games, each dot was a game

a lot of the rise in popularity of basketball is because of Steven Adams. Him being drafted in to the NBA showed it was possible, and he comes back to NZ every year and holds free all ages basketball camps across the country, as well as development camps, he holds a high school invitational, has a US tour program for 1 boys team and 1 girls team every year, and has a high school scholarship.

Say it louder for the boks at the back

04:44 The Hawai'ian war dance is called the Ha'a. The Hawai'ians and Maori are both Polynesian peoples with the Hawai'ians (or Kanaka as they call themselves) being Eastern Polynesian and the Maori Western Polynesian. Their languages have diverged considerably, but still have many commonalities. Their genetics however leave no doubt about their kinship. Their common ancestors lived in Samoa and Tonga around 2000 years ago.

Polynesian triangle. Were islanders. Easter Island, Samoa Maori in Nz. Hawaii. Travelled across the pacific. Polys are family

All Blacks were doing the chants in the 1800s. They were the first to do this in any sport

One of the draw cards for playing for other countries is money, overseas players earn a lot more than they would playing in New Zealand, and if you meet the eligibility rules around playing for another country you can play for that country's national team in World Cup games etc.

The rising popularity of basketball is due to New Zealander Steven Adams playing in the NBA

Love when you do my hometown

As an NZer, we are quietly confident that the All Blacks will always get the job done.

Uso go watch the ALL BLACKS VS SOUTH AFRICA this month in Baltimore

ur comment at 15:50 made me immediately think of James Lowe and Bundi Aki, 2 players that were part of the NZ rugby system, that ended up leaving to Ireland, and helping them secure the first ever win against the All Blacks, as well as starting a genuine competitive rivalry between the 2 nations, NZ players getting offered money from other nations is a big problem we're facing, and some say that we should change the eligibility for the All Blacks so that we can recruit overseas players, but our NZ rugby union are trying to say that it would hurt NZ rugby as it would mean our talent will all be overseas instead of playing in our own national comp.

4:47 most of the islands in the pacific have war dances all similar

A number of Island countries have their own respective war chants / dances.  The Kiwi's have used the Haka for over a hundred years, it is probably because other cultures have seen the All Blacks perform theirs that they have now felt comfortable performing their own on the world stage or sports events.  A lot of other first nations, indigenous or aboriginal have seen the cultural acceptance of the Haka by Kiwi's / New Zealand and have found their own strength to keep their culture alive.
So yes Hawaii perform something similar to the Haka, and probably have performed it at various cultural gatherings for ages but have only recently adopted it at big sports level events.  Countries like Samoa and Tonga have their respective war dance and is now seen regularly when these teams play.
As for All Blacks we have 5 top tier professional New Zealand teams playing Super Rugby so the top 40 players form the All Blacks squad from these teams.  Given the passion that both South Africa and New Zealand have, I think you will find if you react regularly to rugby videos over 80% will be South African with a majority of the remaining 20% coming from New Zealand and the rest of the world.  Looking at the comments so far it appears most comments are from Kiwi's get ready for the South African's???????

the other thing that makes those early all black teams so mindblowing is the transport to the countries they played in. the airplane hadn't been invented yet. they were having to take a ship, all the way from new zealand to the u.k., and then play 30+ test matches. then take one back home again.

Pretty sure the Black ferns who are the national womans team there stats are even better.

That video is abit old now. We are currently trading 1st place back and forth with South Africa, literally one game win is all it takes. Our Women's team is ranked 2nd behind England
