This week I’m working on an easy way to align and fit the drawer fronts on the outdoor pantry, using 2 mm spacers and enough adjustment around the drawer-pull fixings to get the gaps looking consistent.
Before I can get to that, the pantry needs a bit of overdue cleanup: trimming the wedges under the toe-kick, filling the gaps and getting some primer on. Then it’s back to the drawer fronts, making a simple drilling template for the cup pulls and fitting the first five fronts.
I also finally get started on the workshop wall panelling, using thin panels and reclaimed treated timber from the dungeon. As usual, that comes with a few unexpected problems — including another Bunnings run and a hammer drill that decides it no longer wants to hammer.
By Day 3 the planned jobs are pretty much done… which leaves room for an unexpected broken-chair repair using some of the pallet wood stock I’ve been building up.
