I downsized to the Aygo X Excel in March and I love it. I occasionally have a passenger in the front seat, never anyone in the rear, so the size is not a problem.

It’s so efficient, I regularly get over 70mpg and a few times on short journeys have achieved over 90!

Yes, the price is slightly off putting, and I increased it by adding the Premium Pack but that gives me a huge opening roof.

All in all, I’m very pleased with my purchase

Had the 1 litre aygo for 3 years. Now have the aygo hybrid. I get between 70 and 100 mpg on local runs! Never less than 75 at motorway speeds. Great car!

The base spec model offers much better value BUT although in my 60`s i was surprised how expensive this new 1.5 hybrid model is to insure over the early 1.0 model which for me ruled the economy savings out...

Really enjoyed your in-depth review of this car. We both have Yaris cross versions. However were thinking of changing to the Aygo cross, possibly the design model.
However as you stated the GR sport model you tested is expensive , but ex demos you can purchase for around 21k now that,s a saving of 6k .

I have a previous model to the new model Argo, I have no problems on the motorway at all, it keeps up with most others. It’s a super car only lacking boot space.

Hi Tish. I have a peugeot 108. And the ayygo x is about the same size and similar intirior as my 108. I'd love the toyota aygo x hybrid. Thank you. Arwyn from Anglesey.
