Polar bears, arctic foxes, and arctic wolves all live on the ice. But there has never been a polar cat. No white tiger on the tundra. No snow lion on the pack ice. Why?

In this video, we break down the real reason cats never conquered the Arctic. It comes down to body size, hunting style, swimming ability, and diet. We also look at the snow leopard, the one big cat that survives extreme cold, and why even it could never live on sea ice.

What you'll learn:

How polar bears evolved from brown bears in the blink of an eye
Why polar bear fur is actually transparent and their skin is black
How Bergmann's rule shapes which animals survive in the cold
Why cats need cover to hunt, and why the open ice has none
Why the snow leopard lives on cliffs, not on ice
Why bears had a head start that cats never had

Stay till the end. The last part will change how you think about your own cat.
