We’re making more progress on the new property! Today we’re planting a beautiful, massive Leyland cypress tree to add some color and structure to the landscape, but first we have to figure out where it’s going! Brent and I are also tackling the old boxwood hedge, pulling everything out to make room for future projects. Between the stubborn soil, record heat, and a few changes of plans, it’s another busy day in the garden!

Here’s a thought… place the trees, still in the pots where you might want them… and leave them there for a few days, to see if that’s where they end up?
That way you can easily jiggle them around?
Happy anniversary! Enjoy some time off!!
Can't wait to see the new tree grow. It's so beautiful.
Have a wonderful anniversary and lots of fun! You both have worked so hard on the property and the old house, which is gorgeous.
Glad you clarified the spacing from the fence, with a side view, that clearly shows the distance.
A note on gerd, I used to suffer so bad with this, the Dr gave me a medication that helped heal it, but he told me that fatty foods, take aways etc will cause it and aggravate it. Milk used to set off a bad episode. I cut those things to a minimum and I no longer have Gerd. I hope you're heals Quickly.
As a dietitian, my heart goes out to you when I hear about your GERD symptoms. I know how uncomfortable that can be! One little thought, shared with lots of love a food journal might help you pinpoint any foods that make your symptoms worse. Sometimes things like bacon, sausage, cream, coffee, chocolate, onions, or garlic can be sneaky triggers!
And please know this is completely unsolicited advice, so feel free to take it or leave it! 🥰 I normally wouldn't dream of offering advice out of the blue, but I just care and want you feeling your best!
Sending you both so much love from afar! ❤
