A brilliant team that COULD and SHOULD have gone on to greater honours. The Tommy Doc and Big Ron era’s tend to get overlooked because of what Sir Matt achieved before and what Sir Alex achieved after, which is sad because the Doc and Big Ron had brilliant players in their sides.

It's heart warming to see my childhood heroes recounting that great year for Man U 👏

Two great era's under Tommy Docherty and Ron Atkinson they were a pure joy to watch and so many joyous memories ❤

Brought back memories of going to wembley ..

My Dad went to every United game from the late 1960s until the end of the 1990s. He took me to Old Trafford in November 1985 for the first time. Great days.

The Kop'll topple, to Hill and Coppell - happy days. GGMU

I'm a Leeds fan but remember watching this game and the names just rolled off the tongue, the Greenhoff brothers, Jimmy case, Emlyn Hughes, lou Macari, Gordon Hill, Kevin keegan, Stuart Pearson, Martin Buchan what a game!

The 70s United team was always overshadowed by the Busby Babes of the 1950s and the Holy Trinity team of the 1960s but it was still an exciting entertaining squad under the Doc.
Martin Buchan was the solid reliable captain, great forwards in Stuart Pearson, Jimmy Greenhoff & Lou Macari, fabulous wingers in Steve Coppell and Gordon Hill.

Fantastic memories of a great footballing period. Fantastic United team, playing with a cavalier and swashbuckling style in front of the biggest and best support in the land, at home and away. Thank you for uploading the documentary.

What a brilliant football documentary.  Thank you for uploading this.

The documentary doesn't mention Jimmy Greenhoff's cheating handball winning goal. To continue to claim it comes off Greenhoffs chest is the biggest lie in cup final history. His hand is clearly in front of his chest when Macari shoots. It hits Greenhoff on the hand as he is raising it off his chest, causing it to loop over Clemence. It was the only way the cheating Manks could topple the Mighty Reds. At least Southampton and Arsenal made up for it 😅😅😅
