With Indiana Jones films tanking at the box office and Harrison Ford preferring to CG himself into a younger Indy for them - and with Nathan Drake and Lara Croft seemingly retired, it was time for Indiana Jones to show up late to the genre he inspired. It dusted off pretty well, all things considered, but it's a bit late in the evening to try to make a mark on this industry when everyone has already ripped you off.

RIP Tony Todd. Vote for Life Is Strange. I heard it's mega sinful.

The light wasn't the trigger, it is meant to distract thieves from the real trigger, a pressure plate

As I understand it, there was a scene cut from Temple of Doom which explained that the Indians were serving grotesque food on purpose to basically scare the English away or something like that. In retrospect it might have been a good idea to keep that scene around.

Fun fact: when Indy sees the old corpse in the Raiders opening jungle temple, a lot of people think he says “Poor Soul.” But he actually says “Perceval.” He recognized the body as an archeologist pal who went missing. And Perceval was a real life archeologist who went missing!

There's a field note in Gizeh in one of the tents in the workers' area that explains why Voss says the two "SS". It may be simply plain Nazism, but the note is a German Newspaper article that misspelled Voss into Vos; so he was so furious, offended, etc; that he kept thinking about the whole game until that moment at 37:19

FYI, You actually do meet Omar in a side quest. His tent is next to one of the excavation sites

Oh life is strange double exposure. That will be a special kind of hell

Indy doesn't work at Marshall College in the Last Crusade, he works at Barnett College. He does go back to Marshall College, but that's 20 years later for Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

That Karate line actually make me laught

@CelioHogane 1 year ago

13:20 i wouldn't have sinned that, that's honestly stupidly hilarious.

Just to make sure: Indy was actually pretty stealthy in the movies. We always remember the chasing shots and fights, but there's A LOT of stealth in the series (as how they sneak in Egypt to get the Ark).

So... faithful to the movies, yessir!

Biggest sin of all: the autosave system.

I would love to see a world war two history book from the indiana jones univers. Yes, the third in class of the bismart class battleship, with somehow mysteriously transported via the will of god to the top of a mountain range where it sits and rests today.

So funny thing about the Harrison Ford cabinetry comment…

Wasn’t he originally a carpenter by trade?

28:34 Thank you, I'm honestly so glad that there's a big snake in the game and it's showcased. But why ?

Like I'd love more lore about it and how it exists and why is there a titanoboa of sorts guarding it. My head cannon is it's a type of giant but is there more of them and how did it survive this long. That alone could have been a discovery of worldly value, almost comparable to going in a jungle and finding a T-Rex. Killing it and progressing like nothing happened.

Regardless, hope more games incorporates adaptation of these magnificent giants
