This is the kind of movie you could watch a hundred times and still enjoy it every time

Shawshank Redemption without Morgan Freeman's narration is still a very good film.
But Shawshank Redemption with Morgan Freeman's narration is an epic of human cinematic artwork.

"On the outside I was an honest man straight as an arrow, I had to come to prison to become a crook"

My fave line from Andy

I forgot how many times I watched Shawshank.. The friendship, I guess, is what still attracts me after all these years.. Some true friendship..

Probably one of the best movies of the century.... unbelievable acting talent by Morgan Freeman and his friend

This movie is one of the ONLY film's that has me crying tears of joy at the end of it..

"One can live for years sometimes without living at all, and then all life comes crowding into one single hour."
Oscar Wilde.

Morgan Freeman is an absolute legend,... And what a voiceover from him... Only geniuses can pull it off like he does

some birds are not made to be caged, their feathers are just too bright.....

speechless..... best movie ever can be

"Some birds aren't meant to be caged; their feathers are just too bright. And when they fly away, the part of you that knows it was a sin to lock them up does rejoice, but still, the place you live in is that much more drab and empty that they're gone."

The GOAT of all movies.
You can watch this 100 times in your life and still enjoy every minute and smile like a child in the last 15 mins of this movie every time.

Such a great movie on so many levels.  One of the top five all time in my opinion.

One of the best movies in the industry. Tim Robbins & Morgan Freeman perfectly justified it

A classic u never get tired of watching 2020 still here

I first watched this when I was about ten years old. I'll NEVER forget the feeling I got when Andy was sentenced to the two consecutive life sentences. The cold finality of it was haunting and just plain hopeless. Actual guilt or innocence didn't even matter; the back-to-back prison sentences would be just as bleak if he'd actually earned them...

This movie saves a part of me,  everytime I see it!!!

you know a film is special when no matter how many times you see it..you cant stop watching..

"Get busy living or get busy dying" : the line which makes me keep going despite all the hardships I go through daily.
The last scene leaves me teary eyed every time. 🥺😍

One thing about this movie that intrigued me most was Andy's power of innocence and hope. Hope is the most powerful weapon even during the darkest times in life.

“Only guilty man in Shawshank”. The honesty of that reply endeared me to this movie. Great line..
