Our HDB block was recently selected for Singapore's HIP - Housing Improvement Programme. This programme was new to us and we were surprised to find that the Singapore government would be renovating BOTH our bathrooms and that they would be covering a high portion of the bill.
So after a few weeks of planning the day came for the contractors to start. Come along as we show you behind the scenes and what happens day by day so you know what to expect if your block has the same sometime. I was so surprised at the speed with which the bathrooms were completed and the quality of work too. Hats off to the team doing the renovation, those guys work so hard!
It was also Aspen's birthday in June and she had been saving hard for a 3D printer. She had done all the research and could tell us all about them and what she would use it for. So we were so glad to be able to surprise her with a printer for her birthday! It also worked out well for the whole family as she made gifts for us. Jonty and I had a play too and printed some lovely things for the bathrooms. It's been a great addition to the home for personalised items and for Aspen's creativity.
Phew, I think that's all for this one! Grab a drink, sit back and enjoy!

Beautiful upgraded bathrooms! I am surprised you stayed put all through it!
I am getting my HIP next year! Wish you all a Happy National day!❤️🇸🇬👍😊
So, haha, Aspen got the printer for her birthday, but you get to use it! What a wonderful thing for her to be able to use her creative skills.
One day it would be great for you to extend your Australian trip and come over to New Zealand.
Many thanks.
