Classic! am mixed race and grew up in the 70's and the whole family watched it - it was hilarious! no one took it as offensive back then!

As a young boy I watched this with my parents and laughed so much I was crying. No malice just banter and great humour! Wtf has happened to our country?

Warren Mitchell ,brilliant acting , Alf's rants are legendry

Pure class should be allowed on the tv again

What an actor Warren Mitchell is. Incredible.

One of the best comedies ever.
R.I.P Una Stubbs

This episode is beyond brilliant.....Never to be seen again on TV due to              fill in the blank..........

The BBC hasn't got the balls to repeat these shows even though the majority of licence fee payers would like them to do so!

I'm watching this in august 2024 where in the UK there is now mass censorship , tyranical government and comedy is a thing of the past..But for now im transported  back to the good old days watching Warren Mitchell at his best ❤ xx

If you think it may offend you... Don't watch it... Brilliantly written and performed..

Oh why can't we have comedy again, I love reminiscing with these classics.

You can't beat the old comedy series. May they rest in peace.

It's the triumphant look on Elsie's face when she introduces Winston to Alf.

Marigold was brilliant.

Keir starmer wouldn't stand a chance against that generation. Comedy classic

Good old days ❤

If only Alf knew how bad things are now .

Live in Texas, across the pond. Wish my grandfather hadn't emigrated to the States. I'm a diehard Anglophile who loves Britcoms, British mysteries of all kinds. Been blessed to visit England twice.

Absolutely fantastic true humour. So missed these days❤❤❤🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧😉👌

Today's sick, mundane, pc society needs a good dose of Alf, Rab C Nesbitt and Bernard Manning. Cheers me up no end!
