I'm probably gonna get a lot of comments about this, so I'll mention it here; I see the Meta Knight Sword upgrade from Forgotten Land and the Master ability from Amazing Mirror as two completely separate copy abilities.

In Forgotten Land, ability upgrades are based on the blueprints used to craft them. Since the blueprint used to make the MK Sword ability is specifically modeled after MK's sword style, it makes sense why the ability doesn't have the malleable properties of Galaxia as a whole. After all, the sword itself technically isn't Galaxia; it's a replica modeled after the shape it takes with MK. As for why you still get the MK Sword ability when taking the real Galaxia from MK in the duel, I kinda just take it as a cute easter egg and nothing more.

While all of this is just my interpretation, Kumazaki and the rest of the modern team are generally really good at respecting the visions of previous developers and directors, so I do strongly believe in my interpretation. At the end of the day though, it still is just my interpretation; believe what you want to believe lol.

I love your interpretation about Galaxia as a sword that changes form to represent the person wielding it. Never seen anyone with that take before.

I saw a theory once that the gems in some of the hats represented how Dreamland views the elements (air, water, earth, fire, etc.) and that kinda stuck with me. Love how you see Galaxia as well!

My favourite is either Mirror/Yoyo. Especially YoYo where it’s just Kirby doing sick tricks and stuff with the YoYo. Like it really emphasises his playful carefree nature but it also shows he knows when to be cool and serious

19:46 my idea is that metaknight trained to not have the energy of the sword leak out constantly and kirbys lack of trainin gis whats causing it to burst into flames. Which is probably why metaknight chooses not to give hil the sword again it was litterally a last resort

I always thought the wheel ability, specifically from squeak squad, was the most fun to use as a player. Especially when you got the upgrade that let you infuse the elements into it. Running across water with ice wheel was always a blast for me

Great video! On the note of the Elemental Kirby crowns being used for the movesets, Super Fire in Return to Dreamlands summons a dragon from the crown, which I always loved.
