So many talents wrapped up in one person. An amazing naturalist; historian, artist, poet, film maker and very skilled (and brave) boater. We watch in awe and appreciation!

I love you . Thank you for showing us every size and shape of lovely creatures.
Thank You!

Whenever I watch one of your Vlogs I come away feeling a lot more positive and a bit more knowledgeable than before. Thank you 😊

Always great to visit with you and Zeph, Vanessa.  You've become like a good friend one always looks forward to spending time with because you  leave feeling good and with a smile on your face.  Stay safe.  See you again soon!

The real beauty in that area was standing on the back of her narrow boat

Once again you have given the smallest and probably least noticed examples of nature's life the time and attention they deserve. Thank you.

You are like a lovely soothing friend who chats to me weekly lol and just fills me in on your week . It’s lovely ,take care 🤗

Great poet, great artist, and a great dog to share the adventure.

Your daughter is very lucky to have you as a mother. Maybe that's where her passion for saving coral comes from. Happy Holidays to all.

all hail the queen of the narrowboats, her beauty  is great , her smile makes us glad. carry on narrowboat queen.

I hesitate to comment for you have so many and can't read them all. But, if you happen to be surfing the comments and stop to get a sip of tea, I hope you stop on my little tidbit. I tend to ramble as you know, but if you read anything I hope it is to stumble on mine. I really want you to know how very much each and every one of your vlogs is a scenic adventure, a history lesson and always the  pleasure of you company.
See, here I am rambling again. So, I will cut it short and end this literature with a great Thank You.
Tell Zephr I love seeing her sweet face. Such beauty and love in her eyes. I believe animals possess more intelligence than we sometimes give them credit for.
You both stay warm during your journeys. Your fireside ambiance is so cozy.
Hugs, Queen Zephr.

As a child in England, in a  1940s northern town, I so often dreamed of a white, wintery Christmas. Now, in my 80s and living in western Canada, I dream for the winters I once had as a child.

Daughter being a marine biologist has a rather 'strong cause and effect' feel to it.🐬

wow that waterfall ,.just stunning even in winter

My son lives abroad and he is coming to visit for Christmas. I know how excited you must be to see your daughter after such a long time away. Enjoy your time together 😊

My daughter did a study on lichen in middle school - 30+ years ago. It was fascinating! The tree lichen we have in the US is an indicator of air quality, or rather the amount of pollutants in the air. We found the farther you go away from the cities the more treelike the lichen! I love your reverence for nature. ❤

Hi ya Vanessa your enthusiasm for moss and your happiness with life is truly infectious I absolutely love you're videos xx

Beautiful as usual😊 Vanessa and Zeph just stay safe on your beautiful adventures. I Pray for you guy's always.🙏🙏🙏 ❤❤

Zeph is such a great companion.  She is so smart.

I love how you notice and appreciate the little things in nature. So down to earth, and the world would be a better place if more people were like you.
