How I Organise Myself Even on a Narrowboat #253

The Mindful Narrowboat

Living on a Narrowboat requires a lot of organisation and sometimes this can be overwhelming. In this vlog, I come up with a plan to try to sort the chaos of boat life out. Will it work? This vlog has lots of ASMR and relaxing waterway landscapes in it as well as telling the story of narrowboat living. Take care 🦋🌻 #travelvlog #narrowboatlife #narrowboatliving #offgrid #tinyhome I sell copies of my nature journals in my Etsy shop; https://themindfulnarrowboat.etsy.com which run alongside the playlists:

Best thing on YouTube. Since I came across your channel, it’s become my weekly therapy. Tea, biscuits, poetry, nature and art. Life is good.

Zephyr in the Rain

On a narrow boat, where ripples sing,
Zephyr waits while raindrops ring.
The sky is grey, the river wide,
Yet warmth and wonder bloom inside.

Paws upon the painted floor,
He noses gently at the door.
Each silver drop upon the glass,
Marks the quiet hours as they pass.

The engine hums, the water sways,
The rain composes soft displays.
Zephyr sighs, a patient tune,
Dreaming of the sun at noon.

But even storms have songs to share,
And Zephyr feels them in the air.
For on this boat, in rain’s embrace,
He finds the world a tender place.

You had me laughing out loud at Zephyr’s list. Thank you for another calming relaxing episode, worthy of every one of the 4 biscuits.

Vanessa, I hope you realize what a positive impact you are having on people's lives with your vlog. I love my visits with you and Zeph. It's an adventure actually and you teach us so much along the way. You and Zeph's life on the narrowboat coupled with your extraordinary drawings and poetry should be on network television. You both would be a hit!

In my not-so-very humble opinion, wIthout a doubt, one of the most appealing aspects of your videos, is your marvelous sense of humor.
(even with the tiniest bit of self deprecation thrown in) 😆👍
Also, the quantity of 'Healthy Biscuits' you apparently devoured, might, accidentally of course, outweigh their benefit. 🤣
Thank you ever so much, for keeping us smiling every week. 😍

In a world filled with chaos it’s nice to turn your YouTube on and see reality

I love this episode, very educational, insects and plant life, I was oblivious to! I have no doubt, you would have been outstanding, during your years of teaching.🦋
