Peter: “ By the way, the company was so happy that I bought this nail polish they gave me a free watch” ….. that’s brilliant !!😂😂 unique !!

I'm not a fan of chronographs, but every time I see Hanharts with the amazing bezel and beautiful dials, I'm tempted. I don't think they'll have trouble selling these. I imagine that Steve McQueen is up there with the Moon and the Marine Nationale.

Well Peter, you just made my day! I’m what my two adult kids call “an absolute Steve McQueen tragic!” So much so I bought a 1968 For Mustang GT390 fastback some 14 years just gone! I’ve collected various items associated with Steve, such as old 1960’s motorcycle mags, jackets, t shirts, watches, including the 1954 417 ES Edition when it came out! And no, none were owned by Steve! Anyway, just as your video landed, an email from your mate Peter at Define Watches landed. I thought I’d check it before watching your video, not knowing what your vid topic entailed! Yep I ordered one! Then came to watch your video & almost fell off my chair! Just know you have a clear conscience at least on this occasion ok? I spent without any additional “PK Influence”! 🤪🤣 P.s. My excuse to be honest was today is my birthday!🤩🎂👍🏼

Thanks Peter for the review.  I guess my next watch will be a Hanhart.

I showed my wife the video, and she had a good laugh at the "nail polish gift." She says she’ll be more on her guard now whenever I give her a gift while also sporting a new watch... :face-green-smiling::face-green-smiling: Thanks, Peter, for sharing your experience with us :person-turqouise-waving:

Impressive build!

Although I'm German, Hanart watches never really clicked for me, but I have to admit, this one does look beautiful! Enjoy your time im Germany!

Love the design of 417 in general but also this packaging :D Hope you'll enjoy Europe and if by chance you'll pass through Slovenia, I would suggest checking Bled ;)

Haha the nail polish switcheroo is genius 😂

I recently got a Heritage Flyback, only difference being the solid caseback and dial. Absolute belter of a piece! ❤

I have a 2019 mustang bullitt. Know all about Steve!  He knew how to drive.

So cool!!!

What a treat, had to purchase this.
Great video Peter have a wonderful time in in Europe.

Looks pretty good!  I wish that Bundt strap didn’t “Bundt” so much.  It’s too thick for too long; they should taper it off a little more aggressively to give it better symmetry.

That signature is tastefully done.  I wasn’t too happy with the Bulova “Sinatra” version because the penmanship on it was too legible.  It looks sort of gimmicky unlike this watch.

Such a beaut! Very tempting!

Did Steve McQueen buy his Hanhart chronograph in the summer of 1962 while filming “The Great Escape”, the movie with the epic motorcycle jump, filmed on the road between Füssen and Hopfen am See near the German-Austrian border? Some deeper historic background would be appreciated !

This watch is a massive fail. As a Steve McQueen model, they should have released it in the same fashion that he actually wore it. They needed to ditch that red pusher.

Wow, she'll be thrilled with a EUR 2.430,00 nail polisher 😅

Looks suspiciously like Urban Gentrys 1st issue Red Lion, which I´m lucky to own. Stunning bundstrap!!!

Incredible opportunity Peter!
And fantastic Steve McQueen edition.
I’m surprised you’re not bringing one back
As this one’s special.
Happy travels Mate
