Like thousands of other people, we've been watching as the guys from Engine Power have been slowly and meticulously disassembling the 318 they hurt on the Dyno a while back.
We speculated that a pipe plug wrongly inserted into a crucial oil passage either cut off or badly restricted lubrication to the front of the engine.
Well, now that the engine has been completely disassembled and every part scrutinized, the burning question in our mind is where did the huge amount of bearing material found in this engines oil filter come from?

First, sucking the pan dry on a STATIONARY engine is highly highly unlikely
Second, The teardown appears staged and rehearsed
Third, The SB Mopar heads have some of the best drainback qualities of any domestic V8...there is literally no place for oil to pool
Fourth, the TFS Heads they used do have closed pockets at the bottom, but the holes drilled for drainback are more than adaquate for the job. There have never been any drainback issues associated with those heads
Fifth, There are visual descrepencies between previous clips shown and this teardown. Numerous...find them yourself for fun
Sixth, How is the obvious oil trail leading down from the left front oil galley explained? This is after they both installed a pipe plug AND capped it with the cam throst plate.
There's more, but I think that's as far as I'll go on this.
