Spider-man 2018 will always feel special no matter how many times i replay it. They just nailed the story

Spider-Man 2018 is one of my favorite games of all time

I don't understand how people expect Harry to be more likeable.
The dude literally gave Peter a multimillion hub and the place of co-founder, he gave him the suit SAVING his life. Of fkin course he will be upset when Peter is not giving him the suit back when Harry is literally dying without it.
I swear, I feel like people did not even follow the story to even give such opinion about his character.

4:50 it's a fresh air of breath 💀

3:46 well excuse you lmao

With Spider-Man 2 they had a lot of cut content. One that many bring up is the 5 Life Foundation Symbiotes boss fights. They managed to save Scream but the other 4 Agony, Phage, Riot, and Lasher were cut for unknown reasons.

If Insomniac made a third spiderman, they need to have a story like the first game and the gameplay of Spiderman 2

I still remember I wanted to buy a PS4 in 2018 when i saw the Spider-Man trailer but I couldn't at that time , and I finally bought a gaming laptop in 2024 and played Spider-Man and Spider-Man Miles Morales on it and it was really amazing and played Spider-Man 2 in early 2025 and overall Spider-Man is the best game out of the 3 but Spider-Man 2 had the potential to be the best but it is what it is

My honest thoughts for spider man 2 all MJ missions should of been taken out and replaced by venom small mission he should had a lot more if the spot light

1:50 That’s…. A new expression

I love all three of them equally. I don't care how long games are as long as they are fun and enjoyable. Comic issues are incredibly short but still enjoy them.

The bed bit at your mask ad(shout out or whatever) at 11:34 made me laugh so hard! 😂 So unexpected and bloody hilarious!

Bro that first sentence felt like a gun shot because this was my first game outside of wenie hut jr Nintendo (mainly pokemon) games and was the most fun ive had playing a game in years

Was honestly surprised that 2 didn’t have DLC that was released later on like 1 had. I fully believed a carnage dlc was coming or even a dlc that kind of introduced Wolverine into the universe considering they announced a Wolverine game.

Great video, I love these games so much, the 1st game is a 10/10, great introduction to this world and the storyline was one of my favorite Spider-Man stories ever in any media, combat was sooooo good, gadgets and abilities, upgrades, all made it more fun, and that final act, chefs kiss.

Miles Morales, another banger, 10/10, loved the differences in skill set and how playing as him really was unique, and the storyline was a nice change of pace, deep, and that final boss fight was difficult, but rewarding on the hardest difficulty.

Spider-Man 2, 7/10, the combat is the best in the series by far, but they took away options instead of adding onto them, the swinging was brilliant, we just need the ability to run with swings on the ground, a charge meter while swinging to swing higher and farther, the ability to truly swing between cars, slide underneath trucks and recreate as close as possible scene's from famous Spider-Man media, (Into The Spider verse, TASM 1 & 2, Spider-Man 2, (2004 film), Spider-Man: No Way Home, etc), they rushed through Kraven's  storyline, (imo they could've done Kraven's last Hunt, that would have been an amazing first half of the game), Venom could've ended Kraven, and then we get a nice story of Harry and Venom, the end of the game happens, and it ends up finding Eddie Brock, leading into tbe DLC where the other Symbiotes are shown, we get a 3 part DLC with Carnage, and wrap up the Venom Storyline before Spiderman 3, but instead we got a final act that was rushed, and with no DLC so many storylines that they have to wrap up in SM 3, I'm nervous but excited for the 3rd game.

Hopefully with Spider-Man 3, they really slow it down, focus on the characters again, give us a 30-40 hour game, with a proper final act, great boss fights, epic character moments and combat and swinging that finally gives us Spidey fans the TRUE and definitive Spider-Man experience. 🙏🏾💯

I played these later than everyone else and was aware of the swinging speed comments about 1, but boy oh boy did I not really notice it until I played Miles and then went back to SM1. The speed difference was grueling and the game felt/looked ancient even though I had just played it months earlier. Still though I love the story and foundation of 1.

SM1 had such a great vibe to it. The world changed as you went through the story with different crimes popping up. The open world had variety, not just combat for everything.
And the main story is one of the best Spider-Man stories ever told.
SM2 felt like such a rush job in comparison, none of that same flavour all of it just diluted down

Feels like the definitive spider man experience to me especially since I havent cared for the latest movies I played them all for the first time recently and gave me all the spiderman I've been missing

The minigames in the first one is to simulate what spidey actually has to go through and really showcase off his brainpower but is simplified for us so we can underztand.
