Trenton was one of the best kart engine builders in the area for quite a long time. Much respect to Trenton and it's been absolutely awesome to see him go from his dad's small garage with an E-Z-Bore machine and rows of Briggs flatheads to what he's doing now.

Trenton and his Dad are great people.. hes a great engine builder and works hard.. our family had alot of fun hanging out and racing karts with Trenton.. cant wait to see how things go for him down the road.. good luck man

I'm from Hanover and known Charlie for 50 yrs and he did some work for me over the yrs and what is neat about him is he will sit and talk to you for hrs but never tell you what he actually did to the motor.. lol. He is a great guy and I hope you do well Trenton and good luck to you.👍

Such an interesting and informative look at a fundamental part of racing. Technology has changed and the need for good performance is growing. Thanks for looking at the complexity and legacy of this part of racing!

It would be interesting to have an engine builder history tree of where everyone started going back to Brown, Kriner, Ott, Gaerte, Shaver, Stanton, Wesmar, Fisher, etc... on a website. Charlie Garrett's is probably more documented than most with magazine articles with his drag racing background and the exclusive deal he did with Jason Myers back years ago.

Enjoy your interviews with owners, mechanics and others in the industry. Tried of driver interviews which everyone does. I consider you a true journalist as opposed to the Chaz and Wade. You ask great questions an get into depth with the subject. I listen ro your 90 at 9 everyday and i share it to my facebook group Mid american racing news frequently.
