Just by chance my friends and I were in the same suite as Jesse and his wife at Knoxville 2011. Such nice people. I’ll always remember after Tyler left Jesse was having a conversation with someone who I now think might have been Shawn. They were talking about who they might get to drive the car next. Logan Schuart’s name was mentioned followed by “you know we would get Bobby(Allen) too!

Shawn is saying the quiet parts out loud.  And other drivers and car owners need to listen.

Easy fix is take a few inches off the side boards.
As for the Port heat races sometimes they are bad but those handicap races are awesome racing .

Awesome show tonight

This interview brought back a lot of good memories.  I came along with Mark and and pretty much the whole team from the 22m ( Pete Postapak) car. We didn't start the year of well. Mark hit the tire, entering turn three at the Grove during warm-ups. We did win that race at Selinsgrove early in the year and were definitely strong at Port. Should have won about 5-6 in a row that year. Stupid stuff like two lappers spinning out right in front of Mark while leading with, I think, two to go. Also remember leaving Port (afternoon show) and hauling ass out to Mercer ( with Shawn driving) and all but getting in an accident in the square of town. Should have won that one, too. Radiator hose had a leak late in the race and I think we still finished top 5. Last race was the Bob Wikert Cassic, where Mark was definitely going to the front only to clip the 4th turn wall and flipped his ass off. That was that. Years later with Tyler in the Keen car, and I was back with Mark after his Zemco stint. I talked to Tyler a couple of times, one on one. I knew there was something going on. I had a past of my own ( where  racing was my way to focus on). Always liked Shawn, excitable, and always said what he thought. Now when you head to Susky, I'll be one of the guys hanging in the lift coming out of turn two with my very good friend Mike Denk!
