I went to bed so depressed last night . I have tried literally for weeks to spray my car panels. No matter what I did , the paint came out grainy. I watched this video last night. I did everything you said to do. Main part I didn’t know how to dial in the gun. I even brought brown paper and poster paint this morning. After practice used real 2pak paint on my car panel. Turned out beautiful and glossy. Best paint guide I have found thank you so much !!! 😮🎉😊

At 81 years old with literally thousands of paint jobs every moment of this video is dead on .

So i am third generation owner of a body repair facility opened in 1952. All of my guns are set up like yours going back to my grandfather.

I appreciate this so much. After being taught by a grey beard his way for 10 years very little "why" just do it this way I realized I truly just got "lucky" with the jobs I've done. I researched more after getting hired on with a reconditioning center as a painter. I wanna do my job to the best of my ability. I've had so many doors closed on me after Clyde passed because I was female, this place took the chance. I love doing this and appreciate the chance. Your videos are helping me understand more especially when it comes to the terminology used here that was never used in Clyde's shop.

For those who read this, who may have zero experience or a lot. The part that he showed of a “dry run” and how you position your body and having a plan. That was GOLD! Don’t miss that! Kevin is showing all his cards on this one guys. Play it over and over and practice it.
Thank you Kevin, we love you brother.❤

Kevin, I've been watching you for years. Thanks for taking the time for this video. We can all use more knowledge.

This is the most accurate advice you can hear. This dude ain't making up bullshit for clickbait; he's explaining this better than anyone else I've ever seen. Grab a pen and a pad, and take notes.

Finally someone that actually shows how to set the pressure. Every video I watch on gun setup just say set the pressure. If you don't pull the trigger while setting it, you will have low pressure. Thanks for explaining it so well.

I have seen a lot of painting videos. Including the guy smoking without a mask. This is without a doubt, the best instructional paint video that I have ever seen! No BS, just rational thinking and keeping it simple. Thank you

Thank you very much. This is an extremely helpful video, and your explanation is simple, clear, and full of valuable information. It truly reflects 35 years of experience in this field.
This is the first time I am going to paint a car by myself, and this video contained everything I needed to know. Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge and experience.

Years ago I thought clean paint clothes were the thing to do. The first time I used a cheap paint suit with the hood, my paint finish improved DRAMATICALLY!

As a hobbies guy and car/ truck and bike lover , I love good deals on older , bit decrepit autos and making them look new again. I've watched many videos over the past few years I've been painting /learning and this is one of the most complete yet short and sweet videos I've watched. Great job explaining how's and whys

Kevin, your willingness to share your knowledge is second to none. As long as I’ve been following you, you’ve always been eager to pass along knowledge and teach others. Thank you so much!

I’ve been watching you since you were on the Power block. You’ve taught me a lot through the decades. I’ve been watching painting videos all week in preparation for painting my Mustang. This has been the most helpful video yet! Thank you for all the years of wisdom.

KISS, keep it simple stupid. This is an amazing teaching video. I have watched many videos to learn painting. All were difficult to learn and ultimately I was not successful. This is perfect. Takes the mystery out of it. Thank you Kevin!

Being an auto tech, not a body guy I’ve managed to learn body work & paint thanks to Kevin & the great tutorial videos. Hands down the best educator one could ask for when it comes to learning the basics. He taught me from step one, all the way up to completing a full paint job. Thanks for what you do sir
