Gamespot reviewer - I've played the game for 30 hours

Morti - I've completed the game four times, in all possible combinations and know it better than I know myself

Mortem on his deathbed: Whats going on everybody, Mortem here. This time bringing you a review after 100% Life itself.

@DavidWoodMusic 1 year ago

Rumor has it Mortem has 100%'d several games that haven't even started development yet

I see alot of praise on how you completed the game in such short notice, but what's even more impressive is how fast you write out a script, voice over and edit in contextually relevant footage/images.

Review after 100% exactly when the review embargo lifts... this is truly next level!

To this day, my absolute favorite in game glossary was the Mass Effect codex. I don't know what exactly set it apart from the many others but I scoured those pages like no other game since.

This was definitely a wait and see for me, and I appreciate a 100% review right away. Thanks for putting in the time.

I'm glad they came up with a coherent in game reason to explain why your character is restricted to either a human or an elf. The truth is that you're restricted to these 2 races because designing a "mostly" 1st person game in which you can play as anything from a 2 foot tall Orlan to an 8 foot Aumaua would be an absolute nightmare.

I've never clicked on a video so fast

As far a several wildly different biomes close to each other, Oregon goes from rain forest on the coast to damp temperate woodland in the Willamette Valley to various shades of high desert, East of the Cascade Mountains.

I think that at least the Cipher makes sense to exclude because it seems like the Aedyran Empire, who hates Animancy and soul magic, wouldn't want to elevate a practitioner of soul magic to an important position

Being able to create your own platforms on water surfaces using ice magic to get to otherwise unreachable places is pretty damn cool

Every other reviewer- This is a review in progress

Mortismal - I beat it 5 times. I've done everything you can possibly do in the game.

@ny00mss 1 year ago

I bet he has already 100%'d GTA 6

After this and KCD2 reviews, I hope getting 100% reviews at embargo becomes more common. Most outlet's early reviews for games tend to be rather rushed to get them out on time and you don't get to see the full details until after launch.

This is the in depth review im looking for. Great job. Its also fits what im looking for as its someone whos actually played the pillars games. I've read afew reviews who thought the writing and story were awful, yet admitted they checked out pretty fast as they didn't want to read what all the words meant.... Gist of this game feels like its made for Pillars fans.

You’ve got me interested in checking this out now

42:40 the success of BG3 must have changed some of the consensus around not probably making a Pilars 3. Seeing the massive success of a AAA CRPG hopefully made them think again, on how they could get a pice of that with their Pilars series.

This is the best review I have seen for this game. Everyone else is so hung up on not being able to kill everybody anytime they want and I’ve seen all these posts about how the game doesn’t have things like fish in the water, or arrow physics.
