Tati wrote this when she still lived in Kyiv Ukraine. She was looking out of the window of her Soviet era apartment block at the endless landscape of similar dreary Soviet era apartment blocks in the fall. Fall used to depress her much like many people are chronically depressed when fall and then winter comes until spring comes again. Luckily now that she lives in the US she loves fall. Although (admittedly selfishly) I think if she lived in my state instead of California she might like it more.

Their latest album has some very meaningful lyrics.
Tantrum: A day dream about what would happen if Tatiana showed up at a mid 1800s ballroom event in her modern day metal stage attire.
Hedonist: About the hedonist philosophy and it's pitfalls
Rogue: About bloodthirsty rulers in general and Putin in particular
Tumbleweed: Tatiana's metaphor heavy description of being a refugee.
Green Serpent: The green serpent is an eastern Slavic metaphor for alcohol. The song is about her battle with it
Kafka: What it's like to be an artist in 2026 as it relates to the work of author Franz Kafka.
Dark Bile: About being naturally melancholic/depressed person which Tatiana views herself to be.
Fast draw: (written by Tati's husband) not so much about alcohol abuse but it's use and about battling your dark side
Someone's Daughter: About a woman taking on the traditional role of a man to do great things.
A Tongue so Sly: Tatiana says about this song "t’s about when you hear rumors and gossip about you. It can snowball and you feel totally isolated in trying to prove them wrong. The people that spread the talk aren’t interested in your side of the situation. They want to close the door behind you and do their own dirty shit on social media or elsewhere.”  Which is why save for Instagram she doesn't do social media.
Duel: About a battle with oneself and bad habits.

A land of all deciduous trees in winter is incredibly depressing how the world dies.

A recipe for a perfect evening: Jinjer + Phoebe 🤘❤🤘

Tatiana is a magnificent poet. 🤘

Tatiana:  The biological definition of a perennial plant as a metaphor for recurring emotional cycles, seasonal depression, grief, and personal reinvention.

Tnx for the reaction! 🤘🤘

Thank you Phoebe!🤘Jinjer🖤

I always think of this song as a beautifully put celebration of the death of Autumn and the coming of Winter. Something I can very much relate to living high up in a forest. It won't be long before everything here is covered in deep snow, so you may not see us for a while. Still, don't worry cause we're not dead, just enjoying Coma or maybe hibernation. 😅

There is a fan made Lego version of this video that the band promoted as well.  It's fun to watch after knowing the original music vid.

You should check out Lainnerep, from their Macro album. It’s a slowed down dark and moody (mostly instrumental) version of this song. It’s soo good.

I believe the video is about seasonal depression. Something that Tatiana is familiar with.

@Phoebefromtv Thanks! That was a great analysis! Just want to point out that one reason Taty looks different is because this was made right before she got her throat/neck tattoo of the Quetzalcoatl. And obviously different makeup and stuff too 😊. Cheers Phoebe!

Happy Tuesday Phoebe how are you doing

We went to the Manchester concert with Spiritbox, Jinjer and Dying Wish a couple of weeks ago, and have to say Jinjer were flat out awesome, so tight and with Tati's awesome vocals on top. Not that Spiritbox weren't bloody good too, and Dying Wish, but Jinjer were best of the night for me. Absolutely top night with 3 great bands, no filler.

🙋‍♀️ 🤘🙌🫶🙌🤘

How fitting. I just saw Jinjer live two days ago, also opening for spiritbox. Courtney is a great vocalist, but after Tatiana it felt a bit… underwhelming to be honest. Still, both bands were great and this is my favorite song of Jinjer. Loved this

I’ve always thought that the popularity of Jinjer compared to Spiritbox the wrong way round. I like both bands but as far as I am concerned Jinjer are way above Spiritbox.
It was a bit weird that they started the show with this one on the recent tour. I was at the Glasgow show, and got a heavy black eye in the pit during the Spiritbox set.

Noooooooooo.
Why not the live performance from Wacken?
