I know all about adaptation. I'm 59 and there's no way I'd train like I did even in my 40s. Listen to your body and if something doesn't feel right don't do it. The older you are the more costly and injury. I like how you put trapped in your idealism until you hit the limit of that idealism.

lack of care for youtube algorithm to me is a sign of something worthwhile in the video...

Body building wisdom from deep within the mountain.

Nothing made me click faster.

I haven't lifted a weight/trained since 2000. You are a cool/unique trainer/person. Organically brained. Enjoy you/your channel, very much. Keep doing you(!!!)

This message highlights exactly what makes this channel so valuable. Getting in tune with your own body and your-mileage-may-vary are concepts that are absent from far too many channels/"influencers". Thanks for sharing your wisdom, providing your guidance, and for helping us each become the...MOUNTAIN!

If you never challenge your beliefs, they are not yours-- they are someone else's you just adopted and never examined.

"The greatest obstacle to discovery is not ignorance- it is the illusion of knowledge." -Daniel J. Boorstin

I've seen your videos years ago, where you stated that natural muscle growth potential is highly individual, and thus can remain high into older age ... I still think about it nowadays sometimes, and how true that is

This is a great point. To back this up, look at 4-time Mr. Olympia Jay Cutler—he is a prime example of this exact philosophy. He became a champion by ignoring standard rules on volume and range of motion, choosing instead to discover his own solutions through trial and error. What you said about walking your own path is exactly how he built a championship physique. The wisdom over dogma rule applies to all bodybuilding, natural or enhanced.

I absolutely love the philosophical and sometimes spiritual depth that you present on this channel. Thank you very much for taking the time to share your perspective and experience and for sticking to it throughout the years, despite the prevalent trends on youtube. Mountain! 💪🏻

Wisdom is always appreciated. Thanks for the video

I never hear anyone speak like this. To be honest I have approached fitness in a similar way after learning that I am no longer my younger self, and I had to adapt, and kind of reinvent the wheel so to speak. I really appreciate the philosophical mindset you represent here, it's refreshing to say the least.

Hey good video brother im 17 years into my natural bodybuilding journey keep sharing the wisdom.

Jason, eines deiner besten Videos, bleib so wie du bist ... ein Unikat. Hab dank das du dein Wissen immernoch gerne teilst. Gib nicht auf alter Kämpfer .🤜🤛

Appreciate the hard work you do and the information you provide for the lifting community Gallant!

Definitely resonate with the ego trap. When I found fullbody workouts with heavy compounds, I thought "This is it! You're stupid if you do a bodypart split." But give it time and you find out - different things work for different people at different times. Now my joints ache and tendinitis flairs with fullbody. Upper/lower makes more sense and a higher ratio of lighter training. Its the constant learning, and relearning your body that humbles you... and gives you wisdom and open mindedness

Thanks Jason! always appreciate your thoughts and advice along this path of natural body building. Take care.

This is gold man, and the rain in the background contributes a lot 😁

Great video 👍 💪
