Hey every one! I hope you enjoyed the video! I made a few mistakes due to nonstop editing and video recording for 8 days, heres the corrections:
7:35 - I accidently said orange hurt box instead of yellow. No im not color blind. My monitor is at a different set of settings and I did not re-record the line :(
12:47 - Japanese fox has INVINCIBILITY. No its not super armor. I spent a whole Samus section explaining what green hitboxes mean, so yes I know its invincibility. I recorded Fox's section after yoshi and was talking about yoshis super armor, so I messed up; I forgot to correct it in editing. Sorry.
15:16 - I accidently flash USA Jigglypuffs change notes here instead of EU jiggs changes :( I didnt notice because it flashes so fast and EU was the last day of recording / working.
The actual notes for EU Jiggs is:
Nerf Down aerial has smaller hitboxes (180u/180u → 170u/170u).
Nerf Down aerial auto-cancels later (frame 33 → 40).
Nerf Rest has a much smaller hitbox (130u → 60u).

THANK YOU EVERY ONE :_Love:

"Those damn Americans are gonna make our game competitive if we don't nerf everyone" - Nintendo probably

Man, they really hate Link huh?

For those wondering how he managed to get the versions on display as well as characters that weren't seen in actual 64, this gameplay was taken using Smash Remix which is a mod of Smash 64.

The Jigglypuff EU rest is so cursed, that is unbelievable. Also I love how every single character has a unique final picture - and we can tell how creative you got with some of these photos and I just want to say I appreciate the extra effort you put into this video!!

Japanese Ness having insane knockback on PK Thunder makes sense when you remember how exploitable it is in this game. It's supposed to be a high risk high reward move.

I love how he progressively loses it when talking about Link

All the changes are on the smash wiki, but it’s really nice to see all of these changes visualized. Luigi really is smaller in JP!

Btw, the PAL changes are mostly Australian PAL, not Europe PAL. Europe PAL version was the one who buffed Link back a little, and ended up being the one to take the blames

All is Australia fault, they may have even thought Link was racist because he used a boomerang, and buffed Pikachu because Australia always needs more dangerous animals, but, who knows

So with kirby, the dev team thought his backair was actually his upair since his bair hits above him more than his upair did even originally. So thats why they made his upair hitbox smaller. easy mistake!

It’d be interesting if the Remix team did their own “Remix” versions of the OG 64 characters.

Sakurai really just said “screw Ness specifically” when localizing 64

i find it interesting that some characters are literally bigger or smaller depending on region

What the hell were they thinking nerfing Link and buffing Pikachu lol

They really just were changing random shit for each revision

EU buffing Pikachu is diabolical. A rat main from another region got on the dev team and juiced him, that's the only explanation.

MY GOD MY BOY'S HITBOX IS LARGER THEN THE MILKY WAY MY GOD 😭😭😭 11:30

link's melee recovery is just so much more in line with what it always shouldve been and its not even an amazing recovery move in that game

2:20 Kudos for the music choice, Bomberman Hero is peak

The developers also forgot to update Metal Mario's height to the bigger international release and fix his fall speed and fast fall speed which has the opposite value compared to the other characters, they forgot to fix him like, 3 times?
