The way you describe BPD was the most empathetic thing I've ever heard about the disorder. As you noted, everybody always talks about the outside symptoms from the neurotypical person's point of view, about how difficult life around people with BPD is, how toxic they can be as partners, about treating the "problem" of their defective behaviours, emotions, characters... well, selves. Since I've learned the name of my diagnosis and subsequently read and watched a lot of educational content about it I have actually been feeling more guilty and "broken" than before. I grew paranoid about unknowingly being unsufferable and manipulative towards others and became much more socially anxious and isolated as a result. This was the first time I heard somebody really understand and describe the pain I suffer... without making it about people to whom I am the pain. I started crying at the beginning of the video... and I still sob as I type this. Thank you.

I you make another video like this I may actually start reading Berserk. It would be the very first manga I read in my life. However, if it's not complete and will never be completed, I don't know, it seems like is the kind of story that needs to get somewhere, otherwise it will leave you in a mental purgatory.

I'd be interested in further videos about childhood trauma. Some years ago, my wife and I adopted two older sisters who had been severely traumatized and neglected, especially one who had been singled out for the majority of abuse. (To give some idea of the environment, their birth mother's boyfriend murdered a landlady with an axe.) She doesn't have full BPD, I don't believe, but shows symptoms, and these are clearly related to her history. They are in their 20's now and are coping pretty well.
