We went to LIDL in America 🇺🇸🇩🇪 with one mission: make a legit German lunch using ONLY what we could find in the store.
Considering Lidl is originally from Germany, Mandy had some pretty high expectations… 😂 Unfortunately, the American version didn’t exactly have the German selection we were hoping for.
Come shop with us as we hunt for some of Mandy’s favorites, compare American Lidl to what she remembers from Germany, and somehow try to put together a German lunch with what we can find!

The potato salad while being a German side dish, this one was clearly an American brand and most likely not close to taste. The offbrand Michschnitte i love :D Also the entire "Italian" isle was the same offbrand Lidl products you can get in Germany as well. That dark blue color of the packaging i immediately recognize. They are great products!
