“It’s easier to imagine the end of the world than the end of capitalism”: it is to disprove this adage that two researchers coordinated and published a book entitled “Post-Capitalist Worlds.” The two academics start from the premise that it is necessary to move beyond the capitalist model, but that this is too often seen as an unrealizable, unattainable utopia. They therefore attempt to imagine what other, non-capitalist systems would look like. In terms of health, agriculture, education, and production: how would our societies be organized, and based on what political and economic models? How could it work? To attempt this projection exercise, they gathered a whole host of figures—anthropologists, sociologists, historians, activists, philosophers, physicists, engineers, and legal experts—to examine this question, and they compiled their thoughts and disagreements into… 900 pages. Is it still conceivable to move beyond the capitalist model? If so, how? And above all, what would it look like? Find out in this new interview for Blast.

La conclusion est vraie et pertinente. La cause de tous les maux de notre Planète, de l'Humanité se résume en un mot : Le CAPITALISME
Merci pour ce travail titanesque, je vous recommande chaudement ce livre, en partant du principe que c'est une base de réflexion !
De toute façon vu le manque d'imagination politique pour faire face aux enjeux de notre temps, nous ne pouvons que féliciter cet énorme travail !
Pour celles et ceux qui aimeraient d'autres lectures sur le sujet, je viens de finir "Tout pour tout le monde", un roman de fiction écrit par deux universitaires américaines qui imagine notre monde vingt ans après un bouleversement social majeur, ayant mené à la fin du capitalisme et à l'émergence de Communes.
Sans être d'accord avec tout, cette lecture m'a vraiment fait du bien pour imaginer un avenir souhaitable et pour se rappeler qu'en effet, le capitalisme n'est pas invincible et éternel !
Il faut qu'on travaille à partager ça, en parler, le diffuser, au plus de monde possible.
A la dernière question, quoi faire? vers qui se tourner?...ben justement, arrêter d'être dans une position de consommateur donc créer, imaginer et s'insispirer des autres déjà en chemin.
Un système d’information fiable ne peut pas reposer sur l’idée d’acteurs parfaits. Dès qu’on discrimine au nom de la perfection, on crée des clubs fermés où la corruption s’installe. Il vaut mieux accepter nos défauts, les rendre visibles, et construire des architectures où la diversité, la transparence et la possibilité de contester font office de protection.
Voir le monde post-capitalisme comme une opposition au capitalisme est réducteur. Toute utopie doit partir du réel, de personnes imparfaites, différentes les unes des autres devant faire société.
