Had a set of the figures back in the day, and like you I was impressed by the detail and retro sci-fi style of the sculpts.

Had a few of these as a kid space range and the medieval knights, preferred the alien stuff to the humans.  

Micronauts was another great modular space toy (sold under the airfix brand in the UK back in the day)

Retro conversion! Looks well good. Strange I found three of these figures in a bag of bits I was given.  I recognised them but couldn't remember what they came from.  Until now!

I had a fair few of the Britains knights, to go with the castle I helped my father make for me. They were good toys. I remember a younger cousin having the Britains Space Stargard & Aliens stuff & thinking it was quite clever with all the modularly it had.
Ship "3107" came out really well. I particularly like the 'highlighter' weapon, looks like the chunky, blocky & oversized gun that Simon Bisley would have given to Mek-Quake for really "Big Jobs!"

Love the extra detailing. It reminds me of something you might see in Thunderbirds. Maybe it's the colour...

You need a C claps. With screw thread.  So you can fix back your ship........ A C Clap is a tool that pulls out gears and  other  used for it. They come in different sizes.  I used it on my model  project  from times.
