I’ve actually got the same toys r us exclusive variant. Bought it from an auction site and it apparently has never been opened.

I’ve never even took it out of the shipping box but I hope the legs work just fine!

For a long time I settle for the aoshima diecast TB2 I had (still haven’t opened to this day) but I’ve always wanted to film videos/stories of rescues. I really wanted the Takara with the mechanical legs to sell it. Would feel cheap simply cutting to the legs fully extended.

Anyways, brilliant set and glad it’s clearly gone to a good owner who will take care of it ❤

Definitely the best TB2 toy. I’ve got the TB4 which actually swims. Also the RC tracks can be swopped with other non RC vehicles with the the same tracks to activate their hidden features. Really cool

Thanks! Yes I’ve seen a couple of vids about how fragile they are and it’s curtains for the toy if they break…so I thought I’d expel that myth by buying a broken one and honestly, half the repair bill was shipping and not expensive at all…
