Moyu Village is subordinate to Kongyu Township, Kangding City, Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Located deep in the alpine valleys of the upper reaches of the Dadu River, it has a typical dry-hot valley climate. It is a mountain village settlement with both Jiarong Tibetan cultural heritage and revolutionary history. Its industries are based on dry farming of crops such as corn and wheat, while simultaneously developing the cultivation of characteristic forest fruits including walnuts, Sichuan pepper and citrus, as well as traditional Chinese and Tibetan medicinal herbs.

In its early years, the village was extremely inaccessible due to terrain barriers, and people relied on mountain trails and river-crossing chain bridges for travel. Today, a complete rural road network has been built: the 8.927-kilometer Township Road Y014 serves as the only main road connecting the village to the outside world, linking with Provincial Highway S217 to reach the town center of Kongyu Township directly. Supported by 3.93 kilometers of hardened village roads, 9.5 kilometers of agricultural machinery access paths and multiple industrial bridges, it forms a traffic system combining trunk and branch routes.

Most of the entire route consists of cliffside winding mountain Class IV highways, with narrow road width and dense curves. Sporadic rockfalls and landslides are prone to occur in the rainy season, and road icing is common on high-altitude sections in winter. This road network is not only a livelihood and industrial corridor for villagers' daily commuting and the outward transportation of agricultural products, but also connects the Danxia cliffs of the Dadu River Gorge with the idyllic scenery of mountain villages, providing traffic support for local niche self-driving tours and rural exploration.
