Experience a 4K POV drive on China’s G318 Sichuan–Tibet Highway, climbing from Rumei Town to Dongda Mountain Pass — the highest pass on G318 at 5,130 meters.
This 58 km route begins in the Lancang River valley near Rumei Town and rises sharply toward the high mountains of eastern Tibet. The drive follows one of the most dramatic climbing sections on the Sichuan–Tibet Highway, with a huge elevation gain from about 2,600 meters to 5,130 meters.
Along the way, the landscape changes quickly: dry canyon walls, rugged red-brown mountains, Jueba Mountain Tunnel, green mountain valleys, streams, highland grassland, and wide-open plateau scenery near Dongda Mountain Pass.
