Thanks for watching folks! This video, along with many others I made early on are definitely lacking in the research and quality. In fact this video in particular- despite being just shy of 1 million views- I consider to be the worst offender. I recommend you checkout my newer videos to see how I've refined the format!

They becme so successful they outcompeted their own ancestors and became a time paradox

@thatonewolfguy 2 years ago

so the question isn't "could orcas survive the Mesozoic" so much as it's "could the Mesozoic survive orcas"

When your biggest weakness is just simply being too good, you know youre doing something right

@reevil402 2 years ago

If earth was a game. They would first nerf Humans and secondly, immediately after, Orcas.

@nuralibolataev4474 2 years ago

So one of the biggest disadvantages would be that they would suffer from success? Killer-whalebros we so fucking got this!!

@nathanielwowchuk6880 2 years ago

It'd be a plesiosaur genocide as soon as they figured out how easy it is to sever the long head

"The orca might avoid hunting them for they could lose a pod member"
Bold of you to assume that the orca wouldn't hunt it just for the trill and prestiege of hunting down the zone boss.

Something I think you've overlooked it's the Orca's ability to hold grudges. If Orca's figure out that mosasaurs are a threat when big, but not when small, they might attempt to take out any mosasaur they see

Spawns in the Mesozoic
Damn not enough food here
- Orcas probably

Alternative title, Can the Mesozoic survive orcas?

@MrGriff305-d3u 1 year ago

Crazy to think that the orca evolved from a fish into a 4 legged land mammal and then thought... "nah imma head back into the ocean. I ain't done yet." 😅

@BlackBanditXX 2 years ago

This really ought to be titled, "Could Mesozoic (creatures) survive the orca?"

@acyllia5311 2 years ago

lol, the orca being so strong that one of their disadvantages is that they might hunt all their prey down

Prehistoric Marine Life: i dont want to fight you orca
Orca: I wouldnt want to fight me either

"Hm, if the dinosaurs were to gang up on us, it'd cause me a little trouble."

"But would you lose?"

"Nah, I'd survive."

I was fully expecting the reveal for the "let's speculate how orca's would evolve" would be "They wont, they are fucking orcas and already the ultimate ocean predator"

@darklighter8968 2 years ago

Competition for orcas is just a fancy term for ''fun food source''

Intelligence is OP and goes hand in hand with social organization. Apes, dolphins, orcas, wolves, elephants. There's a reason none of these animals have natural predators.
