“Out pizza the fuck?” Is my favorite part. It’s just so random 😂

The duality of Badger: first he's taking crusades to the tune of Sabaton, and then suddenly CARAMELLDANSEN

13:22 World War Z is based on a 2006 novel of the same name which is essentially told from the perspective of a journalist who is traveling the world to interview survivors after the apocalypse has been dealt with which is why there are various chapters in the game set in different parts of the world. There was also a movie that's kinda generic and doesn't do the book justice.

1:54 oh no not the nuclear button

Zombie apocalypses remove the barriers to our natural instincts taken to an extreme situation. It makes the reality of "We used to hunt mammoths with spears and now we get ulcers from a piece of papers" into "We are allowed to hunt the mammoths again but with guns now and no fucking feds to stop me"

@Kozmo3789 3 months ago

I think Cyclops has a solid chance in a zombie scenario, infinite ammo and a near unlimited range.

Ah man, pre-mocap Badger was almost a different vibe. Not better, not worse, just different. Part of me almost misses it

"What's with men and the apocalypse?" We see that the world is a more than a little broken, but realize that fixing it would require breaking it a lot more. So, we fantasize about fixing the world up the way we think it should be after someone tore everything down. We didn't destroy it, but we're damn sure going to take advantage of someone else doing so!

I would say Superman would be best for a zombie apocalypse. He can just hover around out of harms way, fly at fast speeds, and user his eye laserz to take the horde out.

9:00 I personally love those scenarios because of the deep look into the psyche of humans in extreme situations.

For the games, it's just so I can build a melee character and release my inner berserker by shouting "BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD, SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE"

WWZ does actually have a story! It's a LFD style story though.

"That's not real!"

Me: Oh yes, it is, and you'll be surprised.

The love for zombie apocalypses is our desire to fight the whole world… and do stupid shit without being told that it’s ’dangerous’ or ‘a threat to society’ or ‘irresponsible’.

@ForOdin 3 months ago

So, the whole “zombie apocalypse” thing is just a way for us to be prepared for just about anything

@grifmaximus 3 months ago

Syd calls it man's obsession with the zombie apocalypse, I like to look at it as being prepared☺thank you for the awesome video💜💜

@NonEmployee 3 months ago

Honestly I feel like maybe part of the """appeal""" of the apocalypse is that the world becomes a sandbox. So freedom I guess lol

Side note this is the first video I saw the updated model and its so jarring....in a good way xD

@benozbourne1155 3 months ago

Why we men love to fantasize about the apocalypse you ask, the answer is YES to everything you said lol 😂

0:23 It's the "turn brain off, have a few drinks, and put music on blast" while mowing down hordes of zombies. There is no strategy. There are no real-world worries. It's just left-click to win.
13:32 Also, the Call of Duty Zombies storyline from World at War to Black Ops 1 was its peak.
