It’s so pretty!!

It is very freeing to watch you create.  So many people are afraid of doing things wrong that they are afraid to create.  The use of found objects or used items takes the pressure off the crafter about costs.  That you use any type of cloth that appeals to you is freeing,after hanging out with quilters who define correct as 100 percent cotton, cloth, thread etc, where as history shows people used what ever they had to create quilts.

I find your voice so comforting and delightful. I picture you living in a cosy little stone cottage in the English countryside lol. I imagine myself walking through fields covered in wildflowers, past a slowly trickling brook, carrying a little basket of stitchy items and some still warm baked item to visit and stitch with you while we chatter away about nothing in particular 😂 in reality I’m vacuuming my modern house with a cordless stick vacuum, loading my dishwasher, starting the washing machine and listening to cars driving past. I am about to join you though for some slow stitching shortly. I’m working on a rice bag today. I do have a Sally’s adventure book in progress and a scroll depicting the country side. Perhaps your imaginary cottage (I’m guess you don’t live in one) will make an appearance at some point on the scroll. Sally lives in my imaginary cottage. I’ll have to add yours to her map so she can visit.
