Welcome back to another simple day in my life in the Philippines! ❤️🇵🇭

In today’s vlog, I’m slowly getting my small living room ready for Christmas. 🎄 After being away from the Philippines for ten years, I was so excited to finally celebrate Christmas here again. I finally put up my Christmas tree, although I haven’t decorated it yet!

You’ll also join me for a peaceful morning on my patio, a cup of hot chocolate, and another busy day running my small water-refilling business with my son, Dave. Little by little, I’m learning how to balance my livelihood, my home, and the simple things that make me happy.

Later in the day, I unbox my new Omron blood pressure monitor. Since I haven’t been feeling quite like myself lately, I decided it would be helpful to monitor my blood pressure at home and take better care of my health.

Even if your home is little, it's beautifully decorated. You have been so very busy setting up business maybe you need to slow down a little. Your Christmas tree is the perfect size.

Angela, you have had great ideas for setting up your garden, outdoor sitting space and front area for loading. Well thought out and it’s looking spectacular. Take care of your health, we only have one body. Deep breathing exercises and small quiet meditations without distraction really help to keep blood pressure down. I’m sure you know all these things but it’s always good to get reassurance. Have a great weekend

Hi Angela. A suggestion. Make a log of your blood pressure readings. Date and time. I have a log myself. And my numbers down every morning. And if it’s high, I wait 2 hours to take it again, and write it down❤

Aloha Ate, nice job on the living room. Btw if you want the refrigerator stand to fit better, ask Paul to measure the frig then he could cut the stand bars shorter so it would fit better without the extra space on the sides back and front. Just an idea if you want it to be more fitted.😊

Hi Angela I enjoy your videos, when you check your blood pressure make sure your feet are flat on the floor, and legs aren't crossed. Also don't move your arms as you're taking your bp keep your arm straight not bent. That will help you get a correct reading. I hope you feel better. Can't wait for your next videos.🙂

Hi Angela. The best way to take BP is as soon as you wake up in the morning, drink water only, sit n relax n then take the reading. Don’t move or talk like you did in the vid or don’t let ppl talk to you. Take at least two readings one minute in between. First reading is not usually accurate. Measure BP same time so comparison is better. If BP ok, no need to measure daily. Once a week is ok. Daily measuring will stress you out.
