We went through 20 everyday things that Americans and South Africans use completely different words for—and some of the answers had us cracking up!


From traffic lights vs ROBOTS 🤖🚦 to everyday words we thought were completely normal, this conversation reminded us just how much we're still learning since moving from America to South Africa.


One of our favorite parts of this journey has been learning the little cultural differences that you don't necessarily hear about until you're actually living here—and having South African friends who can set us straight when we get it wrong! 😂❤️🇿🇦
