If you were in the crowd, thinking you were just there to see George and then he introduces Elton, what a rush that must have been 🇬🇧

This is a reaction video!

It’s my first time here whilst on a George Michael nostalgia tip.

I really enjoyed your analysis and how you let the song breathe but still had something interesting to say when you paused.

George rocked it (R.I.P.), and he did so as early as the “Live Aid 1985” concert—he was just 22 years old at the time.
Check it out—it's just perfect.

At the Freddie Mercury tribute show, George walked out and performed Somebody To Love and blew everyone away. Well worth a reaction👍

A studio version was simply not needed for this song, so there isn't one...this flawless performance is what is played on the radio ❤

Love this colab❤....RIP George Michael. Huge loss.

My favourite Elton John song from back in 1974, and this live duet is a BANGER 💣

The studio version has members of the Beach Boys on back up vocals - Elton's song, but George kills it here!

I wanna go back

In June 2008 I got to see George Michael three times during his 25 Live concert tour performance in Anaheim California, San Diego California, and Las Vegas Nevada. In November 2022 I also got to see Elton John's final concert performance at Dodger Stadium during his farewell tour. Elton John's Dodger Stadium concert performance can be seen on Disney plus.

great reaction, miss George so much saw him live in Sydney March 1988 then had to wait almost 23 years for him to come back to Sydney and was front row at 25 live, had front row for his symphonica tour too, but it was cancelled when he almost died from pneumonia in 2013, and he never got back to Australia

Abigirl, it was a pure moment of joy seeing you discover this huge classic gem. Your amazement as the intro slowly builds, the grandiose chorus, the crowd exploding when Elton walks in, the flawless harmonies… everything landed so beautifully. George is the ultimate golden voice, and Elton the music prodigy. What a moment, what a duo! Seeing this reaction with George and Elton was such a gift, but also bittersweet. George has a beautiful soul and an incredible talent. He left us way too soon, but moments like this remind us why he’ll always be unforgettable.

This is a classic song and terrific tandem. Cannot go wrong with this live version or Elton's solo one.👍

I'd suggest listening to the original studio version. Elton and his band at the time were at the top of their game.

This was an iconic Elton John hit.

Bernie Taupin is the brain behind all of Elton's lyrics. Amazing duo, they never write anything together in the same room either.

I’m so happy you decided to visit this incredible joint performance by these two legends.

There is also the performance of Piano Man by Elton John and Billy Joel from the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, where Elton forgets part of the lyric line.

I hope you continue to look at some of the other artists and bands I’ve recommended.
