Growing-up in the 1980s you couldn’t escape from OMD & their unique sound…catchy but melancholy, dark but uplifting. Massive hits and quality album tracks. Timeless music that has aged rather well.

Thanks for uploading 👍🏼

OMD's music is just beautiful. What a fantastic band.

OMD are geniuses. Vince Clarke states that Depeche Mode, Yazoo and Erasure would never have happened without them, and it's unlikely that Howard Jones, Pet Shop Boys, Moby, Saint Etienne, or ZZ Top's 'Eliminator' would have either. This doc gives a valuable insight into their creative process and internal relationships.

THESE GUYS JUST DONT KNOW HOW GOOD THEY ARE  TOP DRAW MUSIC HISTORY  NUFF SAID

Unreal that they made all that super cool music with machines. I know is grabbed me 40 years ago and hasn't let go. Now a new generation is discovering the music and blown away.

Wow, this surprises me. These guys started out with nothing but determination and influenced at least 2 generations.

I bought this on DVD when it came out: thanks for uploading it here and making it more easily accessible. Who could have guessed - dreamed of - the further wealth of creativity from OMD that would emerge since, with fresh album releases and live performances as good as anything that came before.

I remember where I was the first time I heard Messages. Blew me away. Outstanding writing and production.

I had the chance to see OMD and Depeche Mode at Astroworld 1988. What a show.

A tribute to never giving up

Love this. Always felt like I was late to the OMD music. I had heard a Depeche Mode interview years ago where they sighted OMD as an influence. I am a huge DM fan, so I started searching out OMD. Such a good band.

fantastic documentary, brought back my youth, was at Liverpool art School at the time got kicked out and  moved to Essen in West Germany and had  a painters studio there, a very rich and productive time for me with this music  inspiring me.I owe these guys so much

I saw the Architecture & Morality tour in Vancouver at the Commodore Ballroom and they were fantastic. It’s a small club and I was standing front and centre the entire show. I will never forget that show.

in 2007 i went to  your concert in southend on sea .. im not just  saying this  , but  its still the  best  ever concert ive been too  .. ive still got the  t shirt  and  wear often  ..  i was in the  second row from the  front . and those drums went right through my body  ..  the dancing andy  did  on stage was soo  enthusiastic  i was in awe of his  energy  ... thanks  guys  ,, i still dont think  ill ever go  to  a  better concert

Music that has followed me thro' my life.

Such a nice reportage about one of my favourite bands of all time - I was at a concert a few days ago - magnificent! 🤩

Very sympathic documentation. Thanks for the insight! Great Band!

Great to see this again, I'm sure I must have seen it originally when it first came out nearly 20 years ago!

OMD were always a weird mixture of pure-pop & avant-garde. Still love the debut album!

That was an excellent documentary, my thanks for the upload  - being from Manchester and a fan of factory records i remember Factory releasing Electricity
