He seems to be such a nice guy. The FGC is really blessed to have its word spread around by good people like this.

is kinda crazy someone like Kenny Omega is pretty much an FGC ambassador at this point, still getting involve in things, despite been a huge celebrity in Wrestling, super cool he is still someone who loves legit SF.

As a wrestling fan this is such an amazing interview to see. Kenny bringing "nerd culture" and video game culture into the arena of pro wrestling is amazing. It's amazing to have such a celebrity talking up fighting games and the FGC.

A legend both in and out of the ring. Still brings a smile to my face seeing him enjoy our niche little hobby.

Kenny's feud with Woods is what got me to start playing fighting games. Super excited to hear how he got into it.

10:31 RIP fLoE you will be missed

I remember learning that Kenny liked Street Fighter and it made me feel the whole scene was being elevated.

I was introduced to Kenny "by God" Omega through Excellent Adventures. Such a great time that was!

im so nostalgic for 4 these days. listening to kenny talk about 4 this way is pushing me back there. good shit. thanks Kenny

I love how the FGC manage to take Entertainment Wrestling gimmicks to their own culture, and with Kenny Omega and Xavier Woods we see the othery way around...

In a way, FGC and Wrestling (as entertainment and spectacle) kinda feeds off of each other, and that's a beautiful thing!

I am a massive fan of Kenny's in ring work. His run in NJPW and now with AEW made me go to my first ever wrestling show. It is so cool to see him immerse himself in the FGC as well, hope he continues to do so in SF6.

One of the reasons I prefer CEO over EVO nowadays, you can really see players express themselves before the match begins. Dieminion's entrance is forever legendary... though Tokido doing the Akuma pose at EVO is still a great moment lol.

I never knew about kenny omega until learning that he did the mocap for Alex in sf6 and ever since then I've been learning more about his involvement in the fgc and in the street fighter franchise and man this guy just surprises me the more i discover more about him.  Very fascinating. What a guy.

Great interview, Kenny is really eloquent about the outside perspective in fighting games.

We need you back Kenny. Get well.

I just love that 3rd Strike had that long shot at the beginning on a vs city cab. memories unlocked

He is BACK now that were getting Alex!

I knew my man was gonna say Marisa. Kenny is a God, thanks for this.

Great interview. Was a wrestling fan as a kid. Fell off of it and probably fell into the crowd that looked down on it for a while but eventually seeing it on TV again and seeing that it’s lasted this long with the fandom, it was a cool thing to see. One thing I’ve grown to really love is seeing people do or watch things they love. Like people genuinely enjoying their game. That’s why I tend to not talk shit about things I don’t understand. Becomes somebody understands it and somebody enjoys it for whatever reason even if I don’t. And that is enough to make me enjoy it and get invested in the storyline. That’s why I will watch every game at Evo or any major event because it’s always hype to see people get hype about their game

what a kind man, I still remember the first time I saw Kenny Omega and Xavier Woods in a match.
