The video delves into the changes in iCarly's later seasons, noting a decline in writing quality that disappointed both the creator and the fans. Comparisons are drawn to other shows like Sam and Cat, highlighting a point where the writers seemed to lose touch with their audience. This ultimately led to viewers, including the creator, losing interest in iCarly, despite its initial appeal alongside miranda cosgrove and jennette mccurdy.

The child labor scene from "I Sell Pennie Tees" is still wild to me.

If you read I’m glad my mom died by Jeanette McCurdy, then your whole view on the show will change. also if you watched quiet on set as well.

15:35 As a kid, I always thought it was dumb that she didn't just ride a bike to school for the whole week. Especially after Sam's thing with the orange went over so well.

1. Definitely agree with iGo Nuclear. I don't know why Mr. Henning made it sound like Carly intentionally cut in with a criminal, even dumber is that Carly owns up to it for some reason.

2. I never understood the hostility in iDo. Why were the iCarly trio so bothered by this guy? Yeah he's pretty dorky but it hardly warrants the disgruntled reactions they kept giving.

3. iMeet Fred's realistic depiction of hazing and internet culture is exactly why it fails so hard. It's not nearly comedic enough for me to be able to forgive all the torment Freddie endures, especially when in the end, they make it seem like bowing to the popular opinion is what you should do.

I love how he mentions clickbait titles and stuff at one point early in the video, and technically this video is the exact thing he was making fun of. This man titled this video, "The Most OFFENSIVE iCarly Episodes" and the first episode is that weird dance episode from season 1. 🤣 My guy, that's not offensive, you're grasping at straws.

You thinking one direction is Australian is hilarious 😂

5:45 Because Jenette's mom forced her to take a bunch of dance classes after she wasn't chosen for a role.

I still can’t believe the actress of Nora and the actor of Lewbert are married in real life 😂😂 still a fact I can’t seem to forget

As a kid, I loved the song Carly sang in the wedding episode! It's called "Shakespeare" and it's still on my Spotify playlist at 27 yrs old. :')

I go to Japan would’ve been better if the gang could explore all that Japan had to offer that would be pretty cool.

I’m pretty sure in that timeframe a lot of shows on kids channels were doing episodes for Earth Day.

Like the Ke$ha ep of Victorious was an Earth Day episode. I remember Suite Life on Deck and Wizards of Waverly Place had green episodes too.

I think there was something where networks that hosted content for kids had to make an effort to encourage their young audiences to be more environmentally conscious.
This mostly applied to younger demos like Nick Jr and Playhouse Disney but still

I mean if they REALLY wanted to be cynical for I Go nuclear, they could’ve gotten the teacher fired for taking a bunch of students with him and no other adults into the middle of nowhere.

I can see where the writers were coming from with the plots of the space episode but since the icarly crew dont go into space we dont know where that girl came from the episode is esenchally a nothing burger

11:11 I love how Spencer did actually have to eat the seaweed. He could have just spat it out. 😂

Fun fact, the Norwegian like liver balls (I can’t remember what they’re actually called) from iPsycho were not made up, they are an actual Norwegian dish. 32:22

I had a group assignment where 2 of my group members did nothing and I did a majority of the work with 1 other member.

I got a lower grade because I had to give the non working members their note cards which messed me up during the presentation.

I literally went to the teacher to explain why I shouldn’t get the lower grade and it didn’t work.

So Freddie getting a lower grade and the person doing nothing getting a higher grade is not surprising to me. It is one reason why I hate group assignments.

But am glad that not all my group projects were like that. But it was rare to have a good experience.

The episode where Sam goes to the psychiatric hospital is incredibly offensive and just spreads stigma about neuropsychiatric disorders. I was appalled when it debuted. It should never have been made.

After what Jennette McCurdy has said, and has been corroborated by numerous young Nickelodeon actors, pretty much everything about the entire run of the show is offensive in hindsight.
