As someone with both, it's worth mentioning. It's relatively difficult to get the MO to sound like a 'classic' 303, which the standard does out the box. For my money, if you are set on getting the classic 303 sound, I'd stick with the standard model, you can get there with the MO but it needs a bit of external EQ to roll out the bottom end.

Best video on the subject. Thanks for taking the time to create the video. I am sure you've helped a lot of people like myself.

That color and that smiley face! Uli should chuck some party pills in the box, so we can reexperience 1988! 😵‍💫

Sounds nice! Though the original is far from lame, the trick is in the building of patterns and usage of effects, and it’s nice that it forces you to go that way. Box vs box the extra 100€ for the MO sounds worth it though ! Very cool from behringer to bring this on the market

I was looking for info about the devil fish from behringer, and I was really happy to see that you had a video on it !
I totally love your review, they are how reviews and gear analysis should be
Thanks a lot !

It is basically as if Rubberduck from back in the day made a piece of hardware... gotta get my hands on one!

Can I suggest that you augment this excellent video on the MO (the best I’ve watched and I’ve watched a bunch, to quell GAS) with a video demo’ing some of what you can do with the CV and patch bay routings? I think it would be fun for you and edifying for us!
Thanks!

I love it when a quirky analog squelching synth has that WASP color theme

Good review, the original TD-3 has less scope for sound but also less scope to muck up the patch!
TD-3 MO expands on what's possible but is also more difficult to dial up the original sound within all those new parameters.
I say: GET BOTH !

I did not realise an MO existed. I cannot make my mind up so I am getting BOTH.
Thanks for a great video.

I was looking for a comparison to decide which one to buy, but now I have more doubts than before 😁. Great review and comparison! Thanks.

Awesome. I've been waiting 25 years (seriously) to afford this sound.

Another great video comparison. After watching it several times you convinced me to go for the modded out version. Just got it a few weeks ago and it’s just got so much going for it. A perfect marriage Midi synced to my RD6. Thanks again for all of your time and efforts putting out these great videos

Great run through (& comparison), as always. Fantastic that Behringer made an affordable modded version....not sure if I really need its additional features....but ....for the small amount of money they are charging 🤔it’s very hard not get one just for some giggles😀 ....( 10:00 also enjoyed the guest cat ear appearance 😁)
