One of my biggest fears is to be minding my own damn business and then seeing myself on the internet.

“There are kids around.” He then proceeds to post it to social media for many kids to see.

"You guys are weird" says man filming strangers kissing in public.

The thing I find "interesting" is that many of these people are perfectly OK with sharing personal/private information on others, but if that lens is ever turned on them they get VERY OFFENDED.

I have basically 0 social media presence, intentionally. A few years ago our rescue dog had puppies, we took her and the pups and parked at a grocery store. Some woman filmed us and posted it on Facebook, making all the assumptions, called me a 'back yard breeder' and painted an entirely false picture of what was actually going on. Having no clue we rescued that pregnant dog, and absolutely spoiled her and the puppies while responsibly trying to rehome the puppies. It was incredibly frustrating, people record you, make a snap judgment, and then share it with the world when you never asked for any of that.

There used to be a passtime known as "Leaving strangers the fuck alone". It was safer for everyone. We need to bring that back.

I got doxxed at my workplace after being filmed by Meta glasses trying to get a reaction (which got 10 million views on TikTok). It led to a saga of him filming all of my coworkers and it getting around to the wrong people leading me to being stalked, which due to my circumstances I could do nothing about. I despise this in every fashion. I despise Meta glasses, I despise these types of people. It fucked up my life, I can only imagine others' stories.

I'm 56yrs old. I'm genuinely sad for people having to grow up in this.
I'm so thankful I had my younger years before all the madness. I will always be thankful 🙏

Internet is full of broken and lonely people who rather watch other people's lives and businesses, rather than spending the time for self reflection

Shoving your cam in someone's face warrants that phone being smashed.

I don’t understand how events like this aren’t considered harassment. Filming intimate moments of strangers and posting it, creepy!!

People will tear down flock cameras while simultaneously filming strangers for content.

Entitlement is a disease infecting those on social media, it's crazy.

There's a reason most gyms and other similar areas now ban cameras in the building and will ban you for it.

Nobody is coming out of this unscathed. Lives are permanently altered.

At least their seems to be a backlash against this "always online" lifestyle. People quitting social media, people putting their phones away, people going out with their friends again, people starting to date in real life again.

So, the takeaway here, is everyone on TikTok is a loser with no life....🤷..... seriously, watching paint dry would be more interesting than the couple kissing on the bench.... the younger generations & internet culture are boring AF 🙄🥱

Delete social media. Find someone who loves you, and who you love, and give them everything. Way better life than this.

They need to make a law that if an IRL live streamer/prankster starts harassing you in public you should be allowed to retaliate with force.
