Clearly the stuffed animals are some kind of contained monsters that provide useful info but are NOT friends.

I hate that my editor brain was so stuck on the fact that the author really decided to have Tim, Tom, and Tommy all be important characters in the comic. There are other names for crying out loud!

Imagine me sitting on my chair and thinking "oh no...", then comes the transition to the outro and I'm like "OH NO!!". Welp, there went 30 minutes and I'm completely invested in a story I've never heard about before. Again.

I really like Erika as a protagonist so far. Yeah, she’s pretty no-nonsense and obviously carries some unknown trauma, but she also doesn’t feel like a complete edgelord. We actually see moments where she gets upset or shows her softer side around kids like James and Bian.

FINALLY THIS VIDEO IS FREE FROM MEMBER JAIL!! i was waitin😭

I love that he always has the book in the background

Grief has become one of my favorite horror channels. Sometimes though the stories can be so gruesome or just strikes my heart in certain ways. Like stories with animals, such as Feral, I absolutely struggle to get through cause I feel so bad. Yet for actual people I don't really bat an eye.😅
But this one being kids, as a Mom, I genuinely got creeped out and emotional. Running to hug and give my kid smooches.

I actually had a principal kinda like that in middle school. I kicked a kid who regularly bullied me so hard he went flying across the gym and multiple teachers saw it happen. The principal knew the other kid sucked and asked if he was bullying me I said yes and she let me go. Thing is that specific principal in the school was way older and usually super strict so I felt like she was happy someone finally taught that kid a lesson :)

Cool thing about this comic, the creators of the German Series Dark are currently making a series adaptation to this comic for netflix.

I feel like I’m losing it… anyone else notice how the octopus looks like Grief for ONLY ONE FRAME at 17:11

The whole slaughterverse is probably one of my favorite new settings in comics of the last decade. They balance thriller, investigation, horror and world building like very few can

3:41 I just started the vid but I really hope the principal keeps appearing and isn't a twist villain or the first victim cuz he seems really chill, it's a nice change of pace from the usual figure of authority in a horror movie that doesn't care about anyone but themselves and inadvertently helps the villain (not saying that doesn't happen a lot irl just saying it's cool to see the opposite as well since it adds to the horror because if the adults Don't know what to do then what can a kid do?)

i will always love the  "10 elite members" trope in any media

The monsters in this comic remind me of the Hollows from Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children.

This is such a unique story that I can’t wait to see what happens next!

I saw this coming in the bookstore once and it's art style peaked my interest. I'm glad to see you're covering it.

This is so cool! I love these dark fantasy secret world monster hunter type stories! I feel like it's a weirdly underrepresented genre. But better to be rare than oversaturated.

There are 44 chapters and you only did 9 chapters. So is this going to be a 4 part series?

2:47 PEAK aesthetic ❤
