FIRST BACKROOMS MOVIE INSPIRED MOD I'VE PLAYEEED (don't know if it's like the first backrooms movie mod... probably yes...) saw it at the best of today section on fnf's gamebanana and i really liked it, the way the events go here remind me of something like a cool impressive tiktok edit. backrooms is at least on my top 3 of 2026 movies so i'm glad to see it receive mods and i've been keeping an eye on the progress of other backrooms mods... i incredibly haven't seen found footage 3 yet and this reminded me to... guess i will now!

The idea of Mary calling captain Clark a dipshit is so funny to me

i absolutely fucking adore these fnf mods that use voice lines / clips from media instead of ”beeps” because it just sounds so much better and actually feels more like a rap battle

@friendthebarrel154 1 month ago

1:42 the way I- am- a- fuck- ing- arch- i- tect- is spliced over the beat is so satisfying to me for some reason

@davidpadilla4014 1 month ago (edited)

"Just because you didn't become a rap-"
"I am a f*cking rapper"

Edit: Yaaay im famus 😀, also i just dont cuss

1:56 i’m obsessed w/ the way the “F-KING DIPSH-T” is perfectly on beat like that, kinda like all the architect lines

2:10 “what are you doing in here…” famous last words by an architect

1:20 "lights please" IS SO FRICKING TUFF

Love hearing lyrics mixed in or, in the case, dialogue with the song. Gives the impression of an actual rap battle when put together coherently instead of the usual beeps and boops.

The art is also rad, the whole mod over-all is wonderful. I'm not sure what there's to not like besides the style of music not being someone's taste.

Maybe it’s just me being a huge fan of Atonals and Jersey Club, but I genuinely don’t understand the people saying this song sucks. I don’t hear anything wrong with it it fucking slaps, man. Especially the Captain Clark part.

I really like how the Still Life’s still maintain the FNF style while seeming more realistic in details

backrooms but clark is schizophrenic and turns into captain clark but his legs got glued to the ground

I really like how this mod goes through the stages of the movie, and I also like how it used some of the parts like the "stay in character!" when they actually say the lines in the movie. My favorite part was 0:39: "like em' describing a dog to suppa oi"

@CaedanBrewer 1 month ago

1:49 "STAY IN CHARACTER!"🫵🏾

1:20 clark saying "lights please" into the beat starting is actually so clean

i really like the part at 1:37, its like Clark is so disheveled in his mind he cant comprehend what his therapist is saying to him anymore and its just whispers/ jumbled noise instead of words. plus the tone shift is nice, going from desperation, to what sounds like sympathetic pleading, to outage.

Pretty sure the hallway is a 3D model that's being moved in real time sorta like the house in Chimera, really impressive

@HitTheFloor08 1 month ago (edited)

0:50 I love how this part seems to portray him exploring and thinking out loud about how weird the place is and then thinking about the architect thing in relation to it and then ranting to himself about Barbara

That's pretty creative and done really well
