my computer science teacher told me once that 'if something on the internet is free, then YOU are the product'. this is a scaaaarry age to live in man

Pinterest is also so unusable now because of all the ads or ai posts. There will literally be 5 ads in a row with like 1 actual post in the middle

Fear not! Everything that's free is ALSO getting worse!

As an Etsy seller, it's IMPOSSIBLE to get a sale now or even just find proper handmade goods for gifts for my family because literally every other listing is an ad and the top listings are usually either dropshipped or AI. It's so sad because it used to be such a nice place to support small businesses.

I was just trying to read an article online but it blocked halfway after three sentences because I didn't subscribed to their $5 subscription??? 😭

The only thing that's still worth its cost is the 99-cent Arizona iced tea

Even fast fashion and THRIFT STORES are getting expensive atp

Capitalism more like crapitalism amirite

Air travel is shittier. Clothing is shittier. Movies are shittier. Food is shittier. News media. Social media. Music. Furniture. Cars. Tech gadgets. Literally everything is getting worse and the only way to stop it is sustainable degrowth but no one wants to hear that cuz they think it means they will have to give up mcdiabetes and sewage systems

I miss when apps were so much more simpler

I’m eating apple slices with caramel dip if anyone cares

GUYS just pirate everything and have no subscriptions

the only thing left is costco $1.50 hot dog and soda 😔

at least once a month, i go down the rabbit hole of MP3 players, CDs, flip phones and social media detoxxing because every new video, article and post about capitalism makes me wanna invest in early 2000s tech as opposed to the souless brick I'm posting from.

This video made me realise Ben never has ads

I remember everyone being upset when YouTube switched from 1 ad per break to 2, now we got 5 😔

4:39 these "skinny teas" are USUALLY just teas that basically just make u shit. so in a way, yes, there are teas that can make u thinner, if ur problem is ur not shitting enough

ben wearing glasses reminds me of how expensive mine were 😭

Right in time for my background noise while I play games

It makes me feel like nothing is worth it? Like everything is so expensive
