Sorry for the choppy audio quality throughout the video, still trying to figure that out! :)

I agree with the core of this theory. I think it's incredibly telling that when walking with the possum, they walk left across the screen. Then upon finding the bottle they TURN AROUND and begin marching right. The mascots aren't taking Brooke anywhere in particular, they are walking in aimless circles with her. As she is now moving closer to where she started she finds her toy by complete chance and now, feeling safer with the familiar toy and it's light she falls asleep.

Where it gets trickier is when she awakens tied up. Running through the forest and being pursued by the bloody apparitions can be handwaved away as panic easy enough, but her hands being tied is physical.

I think the BEST explanation is that the camp we briefly see during the march was once occupied by two homeless people. One who died and is in the cave and is presumably killed by second, who is unstable to some degree and ties up Brooke for some reason.

I also think the second voice is simply another member of the search party which Brooke doesn't know and is having a stranger danger style response to. In that way I think the story actually has an optimistic ending, despite the trauma and injuries she may have sustained up until this point.

Nice catch with the same person being in both videos. I would've never noticed. Part of me wonders if it wasn't really a bird that took her bag, like seems too heavy for a little bird to pick up. Could be the killer took it while she was studying the mirror and she only caught a glimpse of them disappearing into the woods so assumed she saw a bird. And then they took the stuff out to get her to look for it and get lost.

I kinda think that the creatures could maybe be like associates of the killer maybe because in kid and camera there was the kipsneed which was  used by the killer to bring Cailin Caylin? idk to the house and also what I noticed is that the kipsneed and pippin and bottle whats his face have the same voice whilst Brookes is different and you can also hear her real voice when she nervously laughs at bottle whatsit. i hink the narrator could be the killer and Tiny Toe tv is his sick way of logging his kills. and that other voice screaming brooke could have been a policeman or an authority figure searching for her maybe. Another thing i have to say is the lack of uhm... parents. in the kid and the camera like youd think caylan would ask mom or dad to fix the ol camera but nope. maybe the killer targets kids with abusive/ignorant parents who dont care for their children.

not sure if this idea works but wanted to throw it out there: I'm wondering if maybe Pippin and Pop are two counselors? one she knows better (Pippin) and instantly trusts one she doesn't know as well (Pop) which could explain why she reacts worse to Pop. that would also work with what you said about "their behaviors didn't change, just brooke's perception of them." the counselor she felt safe with is presented as Poppin coz she felt safe with them just like she felt safe with Poppin the tv character, but they suddenly becomes monstrous once she recognizes that the Poppin counselor ISN'T someone she should trust... and maybe the reason they knew about the scavenger hunt is coz they are the ones who assigned it 😱

I have a few questions, if its all on her mind why would she imagine them eating humans? Why is caleb not sure on following the fairy if its just imaginary, why does it appear in a foto if it is imaginary, who is the kid brooke found on the foto? And who is the corpse in the cave?

You’re a talented creator, keep it up!

I often wonder of if Pippin and Billy were actual animals and bottles she found along the way and she happened to run into the wrong person

The mascots pippon and pop if u look when hear the voice and she I don't recognize that voice if you look at there face they show a scared face like they knew what was gonna happen

My personal theory, is that Pippin and Pop are costumes, we see a photo of the Kipsneed in Kid and A Camera so they’re definitely live and in the flesh somehow. We only saw the upper-half of the Kipsneed and he resembled a puppet in the photo, so if they’re walking with Brooke they’d almost have to be costumes, no idea about Jamie Joy tho🤷‍♂️

This video might be the best explanation, keep it up !

The figure at the end is the master or the true killer while the others are mascots and they are cannibals the man makes kids thinks that the stuff are real

good video!
