It just baffles me. How quick it all happened, how the person got away so fast, how the gun was angled, how there was no evidence left at the scene.. it all makes me think it was a very well planned out assassination. Rest in peace Jill

The fact cases like this where it was broad daylight in the middle of London can go unsolved really unnerves me. I feel so sorry for the dando family

A brutal bastard whoever did it.

She had a lovely Princess Di look about her.. such a shame, so senseless and sad.. God bless her, her family & her loved ones.. Rest In Peace Jill.. You definitely did make a change in the world for the better, and you will never be forgotten! 💜🙏🥲

I'm not a conspiracy theorist at all but something about this one has always stunk... especially when we know what we know about people in power and underage sex rings now... it does make you wonder. Poor girl - so much talent and so much more to do.

I remember Nick's composure and professionalism in that episode, a commendable show of strength that honoured his friend.

I heard that Jill Dando was about to expose Jimmy Saville. Don't know how true it is of course, but it's definitely a motive to want her gone. Bless her. RIP Jill 😔❤️

Met her once at a charity do at the Hilton on park Lane, asked for her autograph for my mate who fancied her,she was so charming and friendly, and yes I got her autograph, and my mate was well chuffed,RIP Jill hope one day they get the killer/killers.

I remember watching the BBC 1 9 o clock news back when I was just 13, I arrived home from school and heard it on the radio. I was totally shocked, she was a lovely, caring and compassionate lady who demonstrated a high degree of professionalism and strong work ethic. She was my favourite tv presenter. RIP Jill, gone but never forgotten🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 Amanda

So sad and there was no Justice. Lovely lady ❤

I used to love watching crimewatch in the 90s and I remember my mum picked me up from school and broke the news to me that Jill Dando had been killed. I was so upset. Can't believe how fast time flies by

Seems like either revenge from a past person exposed on her show, or somebody preventing from being imminently exposed.

I remember coming home from work that afternoon, saw it on Channel 5 news and thought "Nah, this has got to be some sick joke." Couldn't believe it. And in broad daylight as well. Many people, including me, say this was a job of a professional hitman, the police and the higher ups know it, but decided to pin it on Barry George instead.

she was silenced 🔕 as she was going to uncover peados. RIP 🙏

Can’t believe this was 22 years ago.
Remembered it like it was yesterday.
My mum always had us watching Crimewatch.

Watching from trinidad seems like an assasination (hit) to me by a professional

The fact this has never bn solved definitely says it was a professional hit.  She knew something she shouldn't have and something she was going to expose about powerful people in Britain

Such a sad case. To be shot on your own doorstep. 😞 Such a beautiful soul, successful woman and just beginning in life.

The fact that Barry George lived so close to her alone should've ruled him out. Nobody commits a crime like that in their own area, not to mention the lack of motive. The killer was clearly heavily motivated, and Jill was very specifically targeted for being Jill Dando.

Poor lady, innocently shopping, not knowing she was about to go home to her death 🌹
