Today is Saint Padre Pio's day. A good day for such a video. 😇

Dear Trent Horn,

I am a former Presbyterian who has just recently converted to Catholicism. Being only 15 years old, I am very thankful for your videos; by God's grace, you have helped me into the Catholic Church. Even though I am unable to travel to a Catholic church to attend Mass or receive the Eucharist, I sincerely believe you have helped God lay the foundations of my newfound faith.

And great video as always; may God bless you and help your channel reach and convert more people to the true faith.

With much love.

Still shocked Joe Schmid converted 😭🤞🏻

For people who don't want to believe, even if Jesus walks the earth again, they will still deny him. No miracle is sufficient for those with hardened heart.

I find it funny that, because the church doesnt require belief in miracles, redeemed zoomer has a problem with it. Yet, if the church DID require belief in it, hed say something parallel to what he says for binding marian dogmas

I'm so glad I belong to the Church of miracles!

The response always seems to be: No, because they contradict a Protestant reading of the Bible.

Tacitly, or sometimes stated outright.

The fact that this same argument means the Pharisees has just as much right to reject Christ apparently not bothering anyone enough.

Demons would totally produce this prayer:
O my Jesus,
forgive us our sins,
save us from the fires of hell,
lead all souls to Heaven,
especially those most in need of Thy mercy.

Vindicatory miracles are truly a beautiful thing within the faith. Thank you for defending the faith!

The Church doesn't require belief in vindicating Catholic miracles, but says they are worthy of belief

@CatholicismRules 11 days ago

The Protestants who say other religions have vindicatory miracles are so desperate to avoid Catholicism that they’ll admit ALL religions have vindicatory miracles.

When I heard Gavin Ortlund basically accept that Hindu miracle, I couldn’t help but think that’s all in an attempt to evade Catholicism.

I think another major point on if the Catholic miracles were demonic is: Why are the objectively best evidenced miracles in the post apostolic age overwhelmingly Catholic? If they are demonic, where are Gods miracles?

@CashewNuts0 11 days ago

01:00 The Church also doesn't require anyone to believe in gravity to be saved, but that doesn't mean gravity doesn't exist.

My priest referenced Joe Schmid in his homily last Sunday.

@1brew.w.kefa12 11 days ago

The irony is almost comical: invoking Luther to support their " protestant vindicatory claims " while ignoring Luther’s own Marian theology and rejecting Marian apariciones.Cherry picking at it's finest.

@StealthySpace7 11 days ago

Ethan's opening lines that rejecting a miracle on theological grounds because it supposedly contradict your interpretation of scripture is exactly what the Pharisees did when they rejected Jesus's miracles because the miracles seemingly contradicted the Pharisees interpretation of scripture

God does miracles and expects us to recognize their authenticity and then change our theology.
