Alexander and Snape have a lot in common. Both put down, jaded, and living a miserable existence, under the shadow of an arrogant rival. But the death of someone they're close to gives them the inspiration to keep going and avenge the loss. (Snape should've told Lily "By Grabthar's Hammer, by the sons of Warvan, you shall be avenged.")

Glad he made room for a heartfelt comedy/tribute. Same for Sigourney Weaver.  Accomplished, serious actors playing it straight made it so much better.

This was my second movie with Alan Rickman after watching Harry Potter. I still love his work in this movie of being funny and serious. Rest in peace you wonderful actor. He was my favorite in the Harry Potter movies as Severus Snape 🖤🖤🖤🖤🕊️💜💜💜
