The Guess Who should be in the RocknRoll Hall of fame.     Randy Backman and Burton Cummings are incredible musicians.   Lots of songs.   These Eyes, No Time, American Woman, No Sugar Tonight, Hand me Down World, Share the Land...... all songs that regular radio airplay during the 70s in grade school and high school.

I love the Guess Who, they so deserve to be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.  Please check out their song "Laughing"

The song you were thinking of with the Chk-ahhs was "Time of the Season" by The Zombies,  featured as the final track of their 1968 album Odessey and Oracle

I grew up with this great Canadian band. Burton Cummings has one of the best voices out there. They had so many great hits such as "American Woman", "Laughing" "These Eyes", "No Sugar Tonight/New Mother Nature", "Hand Me Down World", "Share The Land", "Bus Driver", "Star Baby", "Albert Flasher", "Rain Dance" etc.   Randy Bachman later left to form (BTO) Bachman Turner Overdrive & had many hits. And Burton Cummings had a great solo career with lots of great songs.

The flute player was the singer, Burton Cummings. He knew the note fingerings because he learned to play the sax as a kid. He bought a flute from, a pawn shop and taught himself the flute parts. Btw Randy Bachman and Burton Cummings are doing a Canadian tour this year. I will be at two of the shows

🌸 imo, this group is underrated. they really had a lot of talent

"Undun" by The Guess Who (1969) is a jazzy rock song written by Randy Bachman that tells the story of a young woman who suffers a tragic, permanent, or fatal coma after her drink is spiked with LSD at a party. It is a mournful reflection on lost innocence, with "undun" (undone) describing her complete emotional and physical collapse. The song is based on a real event Bachman witnessed in the 1960s, where a woman at a party had her drink spiked and never recovered, ultimately passing away.

from google "Bachman's song tells the story of a girl he had seen at a party who, after dosing herself with LSD, slipped into a coma. The song takes its structure from jazz guitar chords Bachman had learned from his friend and neighbour Lenny Breau."

“No Time” is another great Guess Who hit. “American Woman” is probably their most popular. Another great band I grew up with.

The Guess Who is one of the great underrated bands of all times.

Burton Cummings has always been one of my favorite vocalists.

So mellow and powerful at the same time, Burton had the perfect voice for the times. What a magical time it was for the radio playing in your car.

I'm a big fan of The Guess Who. Bachman wrote it after seeing a girl at a party on LSD slip into a coma. Song release was 1969.

Burton taught himself to play the flute just for this song! Excellent guitar and drumming in this song. Burton’s voice is top notch.

The Guess Who are the best1 They were so underrated. They deserved to be in The Rock n Roll Hall of Fame.

Welcome to some of Canada's finest music

The Guess Who's music ...some of my earliest memories. Some of the hippiest of hippie songs. ....Thanks, Dad.

The lead singer is Burton Cummings. A book with many chapters all worth reading.

Yes, it was a drug, LSD. Real event. She was Hallucinating on this psychedelic trip.

Randy Bachman formed Bachman Turner Overdrive
